Cherry POV:

Lassie was planning on going on a trip for two weeks with some friends. I wanted to go too, but I didn't want to be in her way. I been better lately since I paid my debt. I got a job at Burger King to save up money for a car. Things between me and Lee Lee were getting better. She forgave me for being with her boyfriend. She let me stay at the house as long as I help her out. It was cool to hang with Lassie. It's like we both change. She went for shy to outspoken bitch, and change from wild to shy. I guess that was going to happen anyway.

She walked around the house and check on things. "There's plenty of food in the kitchen. The bills are paid for the month. There are movies to entertain you. You have an extra house key with you. You know my phone number, and --"

I stopped her. "Girl. I got this handled. You just have a good time. I'll call you if anything come up," I said to reassure her.

She nodded. "Don't go through my clothes," she said.

"Ok. Ok," I said.

Lee Lee and I hugged each other before she got in her car and drove off. I slick still wish I could go, but I'm trying to find JayJay. He really got me out some deep trouble. I didn't know the much about him though. I don't know where to go or who to ask. I got time though. I put on my work clothes and locked up the house.

I went to the car that my dad gave me. He gave this to me to borrow till I can get a car of my own. He still don't trust me since he put me out. Lee Lee tells him that I'm doing better, but there's still problems between me and him.

I drove off to work. Before I went in, I saw Star calling my phone. I rolled my eyes and put my phone on silent. I'm done with her. I realize that the bitch isn't worth my sister's life. I asked Star if she could let me stay over her house for a while, but she turned me down. Beside, I meet a cool girl at work name Kia who I call my friend.

I walked inside and saw Kia at the resister. "Hey girl."

"Hey," I said.

I check in and got behind the resister. "Welcome to Burger King. How may I help you?"

About four hours later, I was bored out my mind. Nothing much was happening today. Kia and I talked and played games. It was cool.

"Ooo girl. My cousin Minny is trying to get this guy name Dee on child support," Kia said.

"Fr," I said.

She nodded. "Mm-hmm. But everyone know he ain't the father because they didn't fuck long enough for her to be three months pregnant by him."

"Damn. She's desperate," I said.

"Yup. Girl don't know who the damn father is. If she gon blame someone getting her pregnant, she need to chose one of those niggas she been fucking with for at least four damn months." She looked at the door. "Aye, Cherry. Here he come now."

I looked at the guy who came in. I see why Kia's cousin trying to trap him. He fine ass hell. But I my attention was on the person behind him.

Omg.

The bitch is constantly calling his phone. Like damn. She can't take the hint that my brother don't want her hoe ass.

I was in the living room with Dee when a knock came to the door. Dee got up to answer it since it was for him most of time. I keep chilling til I heard yelling.
