Lassie POV:

I couldn't do this.

Earlier today, I was hesitating about going. After a while of debating with myself, I finally decided to go. I really needed answers. I need to know what Jack has been doing. I need to know how long he has been playing me.

I drove to the address I received from the text message yesterday.

When I got to the place, I noticed that it was Tori house. I walk up to the house. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. I could hear screaming and shouting on the inside.

I slowly opened the door and saw that four girls was in a middle of a battle. I saw that Tori and another girl was between two girls, trying to stop them from reaching each other. I gasp when I noticed that those we're the the same girl who insulted me when I was over Jack's.

Everybody turned and stared at me. I feel very uncomfortable with all those eyes looking at me.

"Oh, do I have to cut up an other bitch now?" one of the girls who insulted me said.

I flinched and ran out the house. I felt like crying again.

I heard footsteps follow behind me.

"Hold on!" I heard someone yell to me.

I stopped. I wipe the tears that had fallen. The girl ran toward me.

"Hey. Are you ok?" she asked.

I shook my head.

"Look you can't let her get to you. She's a bitch to anyone," she said.

"But I don't even know her," I whispered.

"Me neither. I only seen her for like five minutes, and I already don't like her," she said.

I giggled. I looked at her and saw her smiling.

"Hii. I'm Brennan, but you can call me Bre," she said.

I stared at her. Did I heard her right? "So you're the girl who texted those messages?"

"Pretty much," she said as she nodded her head.

I didn't know what to say. Honestly, I thought it was Tori who was girl who sent all those text messages. It was Tori's house we was meeting at. Also, she was the one who was close to Jack like glue. So it kinda made sense that it was Tori. Though now meeting Brennan, it made sense why the name at the end of the texts was Bre.

"Um... I'm Lassie," I said.

"I kinda figured," Bre said.

"How?" I asked.

"Well, Tori told me that you were shy."

I nodded.

We stood in silence for a minute.

"We should get inside with the others," Bre said.

"Can we just stay out here, and you can answer my questions?" I asked.

She sighed. "Everyone in the house have questions like you do. Honestly, I have questions myself. There are some things we do and don't know about Jack, and I believe all of us can fill in the blanks to this."

I guess she was right. We all had questions and answers for each other. But I'm afraid of those girls. I don't like how they disrespect me. I didn't know how to tell Bre that.

She musta had read my mind cos she said, "I know that you and those girls had a bad start, but you know at the time they were angry at Jack."

I tensed at the mention of his name. All this was Jack's fault. Nun of this would have happened if he wasn't playing around with all of us.
