Recap

I headed to my room after being at Bre's room. She went toward the elevators to go to the salon with her friends.

"Hey," I heard Bre said behind me.

I turned toward her to hear what she had to say.

"Thank you," Bre said with a small smiled.

I smiled back. "Welcome."

She nodded and went into the elevator. I went in my room and sat on my bed. Damn, that girl was truly scary and sweet at the same time. My phone vibrated in my pants.

Dad: meet Stella and I in the dining room in five minutes for breakfast

I sighed. I just ate breakfast with Bre. I was about to text him that I couldn't when another text came up.

Dad: not an option

I shook my head. I guess I'm going down there. I put on some different clothes to look formal but casual. I walked to the dining area that was by the lobby. I scan around and spotted my dad and Stella at a table in the middle of the room. I walked over to them and sat down.

"Oh, son. It's nice for you to join us," he said like he didn't just text me five minutes ago to come down here.

Stella smile at me. "Do you want something to eat?"

I shook my head. "No. I just thought I'll just chat with y'all," I said.

She nodded and went back to eating her food.

My dad cleared his throat. "Since you chose to chat with us, there is something I'll like to talk about with you ."

Stella hit my dad arm. "No Robby," she lowly scowl at my father.

My dad raise his hand. "Stella, it's alright."

Stella sighed while shaking her head. This must not be good then.

"Son," my dad said as turned back to me. "I wanted to talk to you about finding yourself a wife."

I sighed as I lean back against the chair. Not this again. This was always the thing he talk about with me ever since I started my first business. He never let it go since.

"Seriously, son. You need to find a nice young lady to settle down with and have a family."

"Dad, I told you. I'm trying to focus on my career right now," I said.

"But son. You have almost ten businesses running and successful. You can always take a break. I just want you to get married before you get too old," he said.

"You and Stella are 48 and getting married," I said as I looked between them.

My dad and Stella looked at each other for a second. Stella shook her head in disappointment.

"Son, that's different," my dad tried to defend. "I married your mom first. Also, I had you when I was 22 years old."

"Ok..." I said wanting him to tell me the point of all of this.

"I want grandchildren you know," he said as he set his fork down.

I shrugged my shoulders. "You always have Gina to do that."
