We were sitting on the wall of the roof relaxing when Max tipped sideways, slipping off the roof, about to plunge to the concrete six stories below. Somehow, I was up and my arms grabbed Max's small frame around the waist. I pulled him back onto the roof, falling over backwards. Max was awake now, looking around, confused. He was in my lap, and his head whipped around and then faced me. His nose was nearly touching mine.

The next thing I knew, my hands were in his hair, his arms around my neck, and we were kissing. Something inside of me exploded. It was like a bomb dropping on a field of corn. Sparks flew through every inch of me, my body tingled from head to toe. Every part of my brain was telling me this was wrong, but every part of my body was telling me it was right. My heart felt like it was going to burst from my chest. It wasn't my first kiss, not even close to my first kiss. All my life I had had girls chasing after me. I had had many girlfriends, but I had never felt this before. No girl had ever triggered something so strong within me.

Max pulled away, breathing hard. He threw himself backwards against the wall, away from me. His blue eyes grew wide and filled with tears. He clamped his hand over his mouth. The tears began rolling down his cheeks and Max crumpled, his head on his knees. He rocked back and forth.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh my god I'm so sorry!!!" Max's body shook, the tears coming faster now, pouring down his cheeks.
