Ava was nice to me. She gave me money for a hotel and food, she was a friend. She would come and hang out with me everyday, make sure I didn't need anything.

"Hey Cat." She walked into the room.

"Oh, hey."

"I have a surprise."

"I don't need anymore money, I'm fine." I felt bad that she gave me her money. She only had so much.

"It's not money. It's a house. My grandparents want me to go to college in Urion, so they bought me a townhouse. I was thinking you could live there for now."

She was always thinking of me. Doing things that would benefit me. I liked it. I liked having someone that actually cared, unlike my parents.

Ava was so photogenic. How could a human being look good in every picture. She gave me her camera to take pictures while she climbed mountains and did adventurous things. That was her happy place, she was always smiling. Even if she fell, she would get up and laugh. She loved the adrenaline rush of danger.

"You want to head back now?"

"Sure."

When we got to the townhouse, she said goodbye and headed off to her real house. Of course, I knew she would be back tomorrow.
