CHAPTER 2
Showered and pampered, I grabbed my large touch screen cell phone from my room and strolled to the lounge. Our house was really huge, two stories of it actually. My brothers and I decided to move out of the pack house, which is basically where all the members of a wolves pack choose to stay. Our mother and father are Alpha and Luna of the pack and have their own problems to worry about which is why we moved out, I think. Though this is my world, I don’t know a lot of things. Downstairs was the rooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and game room. In the foyer there’s 3 halls and the staircase. The first hall led to the lounge and was rather short, bare white walls with a red fluffy carpet. The second hall was all the bedrooms and more of an extension as it led off and away from the house, the only thing connecting it to the house was the hallway. Upstairs was the theatre, the ‘chill out’ room and the gym. Flopping onto one of the black lazy boys, I decided I need some girl time. The contact name “Aleesha Veronica” flashed briefly on my phone and I hit dial.
Three rings.
“Helloooooo?” Her light voice laced with a British accent lulled through my phone and I laughed. I laughed every time she talked.
“Vee. Elizabeth here in need of some desperate girl time. Not interrupting anything, am I?” I smirk at the phone. Geez I can practically hear the whiny boy through the phone, going off about how he only has half an hour. Ugh.
“Of course not, love. I’ll be over real quick yeah?” The whiny teen voiced his protests further. I could hear her muffled scolding and knew she had put her hand over the receiver.
“Yeah babe. Hey, put me on loud speaker real quick aye?”
“Don’t scare the poor boy too much, doll face.” I smiled at the phone.
“Yeah whatever just do it.” Click. I put on my deepest guy voice.
“If your still there when I come over for my girlfriend, I’ll give you a 5 second head start to run your runty ass out of that house before I hunt you down and hang you by your…toes.” Aleesha was snickering by the side and heard the boy squeal and rush around the room. Vee spoke briefly.
“Through the window and, ew, take that will you? Im not throwing it in my bin.” I could practically see her checking her expensive manicure while he falls over himself trying to escape and man im just giggling, holding the phone as far from me as possible. I do this all the time with her to get rid of clingy guys faster. And as always, for shits and giggles.
“Well im in the lounge, see ya.” I hung up and folded my legs awkwardly as they’re a tad too long. Thank god I threw on my shorts. Half an hour and 3 donuts later the doorbell rings. I jump out of my seat and walk to the door all giddy and excited, already smelling the sickly sweet scent of Aleesha’s Marina de Bourbon perfume. Swinging open the door Aleesha Veronica smiles warmly at me and I take a second to admire my human friend. She’s left her perfectly tanned legs exposed today; wearing a plain, tight, black miniskirt with barely-there ripples and bright red killer heels that she slips into perfectly and adds a couple inches to those wickedly long legs of hers. Her long sleeved shirt doesn’t leave much to the imagination with its low cut front and tight bodice, hugging her sharp, model curves and C-cup chest a little too flawlessly. Her black hairs been left to tumble in soft curls down to her waist and her make-up isn’t too bad today; mascara and eyeliner to make her sharp green eyes pop with a cherry red lipstick. Yep, she was definitely the envy of every girl she strut past. My beautiful friend Aleesha Veronica, Cross High schools slut. Stepping forward, she wrapped her arms around me and pulled my head into her chest for a hug.
