CHAP 6

This can't be happening. Not in the middle of class. Please, please just wait a little a longer! No, No stay in!

I quickly raised my hand.

"Yes, Elizabeth?" Mr . Monroe pushed his glasses higher as he pointed at me. Drool...

"Can I please use the bathroom?" The betrayal of pink rushed to my cheeks.

"Oh, yes of course. Do you need a-" I cut him off.

"No, I need to go!" Snickers started around the class and the pink in my cheeks became more vibrant as I shoved out of my seat and made my way quickly to the door. How degrading.

"She has bladder problems," Jai's little comment made the class erupt into laughter and I slammed the door. He's in for it tonight.

I'm lucky Mr. Monroes in a good mood or I would have pooped myself.

I was rushing back now, knowing that I'd spent more than enough time in the bathroom. I thought it'd be an easy walk back but Mr. Bert, the most dick teacher to ever live, stepped right in front of me. Just my damn luck. I put on my sweetest smile and clasped my hands in front of me.

"Good evening sir," My stomach twisted at having to play nice with this obese, greasy geezer. He sneered.

"Miss Larkins, I presume you have a pass to be wondering these halls? As for your uniform... detention  worthy," Shit. I should have grabbed that pass and 'as for my uniform' indeed. This is the style I have it everyday. Sleeves rolled up, black ankle socks, skirt pulled 5 centimeters above regulation, tie hanging loosely and blazer unbuttoned. I'm surprised he hasn't pulled me up for this before. He tapped his foot and glared at me with his beady, little eyes.

"Well you see, I was just, but then this girl and, wow you should of seen. Worst thing I ever, but then it came out of no where! Next thing she was, and I was on the floor but the thing it was, and then wow you wouldn't believe!" I choked on my words and started spewing out things I hoped would get me out of it while at the same time exaggerating wildly with my hands. Is it so hard for you to just make a simple lie Elizabeth? I mentally slapped myself.

Before either of us could open our mouths to speak, someone put their arm on my head and leaned their weight on me. My heart jumped a million miles and I flinched at the sudden surprise. I would have punched them right in the chest for scaring the wolf out of me but the person spoke.

"Our pass is right here. Teacher wrote both our names on it," Deep voice. Male. I suddenly felt very uncomfortable with that fact and pushing him off seemed like a great idea until I realized he was saving my ass, so instead I froze. The mystery boy flicked his paper to the teacher along with my hopes of leaving. I started growing restless as I wanted to sprint out of there, leaning from foot to foot. Mr. Bert squinted, assessing the paper so throughly it could spontaneously combust from his intense stare. What's his damn problem? Why is this boy still leaning on me? My hair was curled perfectly... I suppressed an annoyed growl at the thought and pulled on a piece of hair.

"It better look as good as it did before you touched it," I mumbled softly, not expecting him to hear, let alone respond.

"Be grateful you're not on your way to the principles office for breaking 2 rules. I'm your damn hero," Oh, the arrogance. I shoved his arm off, ready to give him a piece of my mind but he gripped my wrist tightly and ran down the hall before I even planned out my insult, shouting over his shoulder.
