I sigh while turning off the warm water, and stepping out of the shower. It honestly felt good, unlike the cool rainwater.
I look around realising I don't have a towel. How can I be so stupid?
You always need a towel when you shower, how did I forget to ask for one?
I open the door slightly, making sure only my head is visible from the outside. My face is hit with the cold air, rather than the steamy air inside the bathroom, causing goosebumps to form on my arms.
I notice a boy walking up the first flight of stairs and immediately recognise him as Simon. Do they all live together?
"Simon," I whisper shout causing Simon to look around confused before noticing my head sticking out. He furrows his eyebrows before coming over to me.
"Jay? What are you doing here?" Simon whispers back and I sigh before shaking my head, feeling uncomfortable under his gaze.
"I'll tell you later, but could you maybe get me a towel?" I ask gripping the door nervously. He smirks slightly, before nodding his head. He starts to walk away and another realisation hits me. "Wait, I need clothes too."
I couldn't wear the still wet ones laying on the bathroom floor.
Simon nods before opening a door to what must be a closet before throwing me a towel, making me catch it.
"You're going to have to wear my clothes. I'll go get them," Simon says, and I nod before going back into the bathroom and closing the door. I dry my hair the best I can, before quickly drying my body and wrapping the towel around my body.
A knock on the door causes me to take a deep breath before opening the door to see Simon yet again. This time there's a small pile of clothes in his arms.
I carefully grab the clothes, making sure my towel doesn't fall before smiling at Simon. "Thank you," I mutter nervously before closing the door.
I put the clothes on and look at myself in the mirror. The maroon sidemen sweatshirt is pretty big on me, hanging halfway down my thighs and the sleeves going way past my fingertips. The black sweatpants aren't that bad, a little bit long and baggy, but most of my sweatpants are. They're comfortable and that's what counts.
I sigh at the lack of makeup on my face. Not that I needed a full face of it, but I've only really just met these guys and they're already seeing me like this. A little mascara and concealer wouldn't hurt, specially considering the bags under my eyes have been worse recently, because University has for some reason been giving out a lot more projects that require more work, and my coworker has been ditching, causing me to be called in at last minute. Damn, I miss being a kid. Luckily, I don't have classes tomorrow, and I'm not scheduled to work.
I grab my clothes and stuff them in my bag, before pulling out my wallet which, surprisingly, isn't too wet. I stuff that into one pocket before putting my phone in the other. I glance at myself in the mirror once more and realise that, on the sweatpants, there's the same SDMN logo. I feel my heart swell from proudness. Even though I haven't known these boys for barely any time, them having their own clothing line really does make me happy, because that must mean that they're pretty successful. Not to mention, the fact that they can afford this house. I have two roommates at mine, and we still struggle.
I decide to leave my bag in the bathroom, I can get it when I leave. Hopefully, it's not in the way.
I nervously grip the ends of the sleeves in my hands before exiting the bathroom and making my way back downstairs.
I enter a room that looks like a living room and see Harry sitting on a couch, on his phone. I shuffle over to the couch and sit next to him, not really knowing what else to do.
