I sigh as I slip on a pair of my black vans. I probably shouldn't have given a stranger my address.

Oh well, if I die, I die.

I quickly look in the mirror and make my long dark purple hair even on both sides even though I know it won't stay that way. I did simple makeup since I don't really know how to do complex makeup, and I didn't know if he would be disgusted if I didn't wear makeup. That's a dick move, but I still want to impress him. I'm not wearing anything too extravagant, but it's a step up from my normal sweatpants and random shirt. I have on a white shirt saying I want abs but I want pizza more, with a little cartoon pizza beneath it. I also have on skinny jeans with a couple of rips in them. Nothing too fancy, for sure, but nothing too shabby either.

I go downstairs, taking a lot of time on the stairs, because of my injury. I walk into the living room before grabbing my keys and money and stuffing them in my pockets, considering I don't own a purse.

I jump slightly when I hear knocking on the door, so I take a deep breath. I haven't been out with someone I don't really know since, well, a long time, so I'm pretty nervous.

I take another deep breath before opening the door, and being met with what I assume is Simon. After learning about his YouTube channel last night, I questioned Sammy, my friend, a little bit more. I learned about the Sidemen and that it's all of the boys from the chat. She even offered to send me pictures, but I didn't want to see them. I wanted to meet them first, so that's why I didn't watch any of their videos. I guess I wanted their looks to be a surprise.

However, I didn't expect Simon to look the way he does. I don't know what I expected, but his dark blonde hair was styled into a little quiff, and I immediately noticed his ocean blue eyes. Of course I'd have to be a sucker for blue eyes. He has a slight smile on his face, and I notice his faint dimples. His outfit consisted of a plain black shirt and a pair of normal jeans. Nothing special, in a good way, of course.

I smile at him before stepping out of my house, closing the door behind me and making sure it's locked.

"Hi," I say nervously, causing it to come out quieter than I wanted.

"Hi," Simon says stuffing his hands into his pockets, and I notice that he must be nervous, because his voice was almost as quiet as mine. And this is the boy I've been flirting with online for three days. Although, it feels like it's been a lot longer. "Um, are you ready?"

"Yep," I say before we walk towards his car, me following him. While we're walking I notice how tall he is. Good thing I'm not too short. I also have to really focus on walking normally, despite the pain in the knee.

Once we're in his car, he grabs something that had been sitting in the middle consul. I watch as he puts a pair of glasses on his face. "I, uh, have to wear glasses when I drive," he says shyly before putting his key into the ignition.

"Simon, you look cute in your glasses," I say just as shyly, but I could tell he wasn't very confident in them, and I wanted him to feel better. I'm not going to lie though, he does look cute. He smiles at me before he starts driving to wherever we're going for lunch.

After a couple of minutes it gets awkward. Neither of us are attempting to make conversation, and I don't know where to put my hands. What the hell do I usually do with them?

"Um, nice car," I say trying to start a conversation so it isn't so awkward, but the statement only sounded dumb.

"Thanks," Simon simply says before stopping at a light and glancing over at me. "You too."
