"Jayden! I wanna play Fifa, you're depriving me," Jake whines for the millionth time causing me to roll my eyes. He literally has not shut up about since we got to the house. I think he's obsessed.
"Shut the hell up Jake," Sammy shouts from somewhere in the house causing Jake to chuckle and me to roll my eyes.
"Please go buy it for me Jay," Jake pleads, giving me puppy dog eyes. I put my hand on his face before pushing him away.
"I don't have money for the game, let alone the damn console you'd need as well," I reply causing Jake to let out a whine. I pick up a random water bottle that was sitting on the counter and throw it at him, but unfortunately he catches it and raises his eyebrows at me.
He smirks before twisting off the cap and then throwing the bottle back to me, causing water to go all over myself.
"Jake!" I scream, not expecting that at all. "Fine! If I can hook you up today, will you drop it the rest of the time you're here?"
"I promise," Jake smiles before sticking out his pinky finger. I wrap mine around his, knowing that he won't break the promise. It's something we've always done.
I take my phone out of my pocket and call Simon, not really wanting to text him right now.
"Hey Jayd," he answers and Jake winks at me before skipping out of the kitchen causing me to roll my eyes.
"Hey, um, so about your offer a couple days ago," I start, following Jake out of the kitchen. I notice him going up the stairs, probably to get changed or something.
"The Fifa one, with your brother," Simon questions as Sammy comes down the stairs, looking very irritated. She's about to talk to me, but realises I'm on the phone.
"Yeah, could I maybe take you up on that?" I ask, hoping to everything that he'll let me. Jake needs to play that stupid fucking game, and definitely needs to get out of a house made up of all girls.
"Yeah, that's fine. I'm recording right now, but he can definitely come over later," he replies and I sigh in relief.
"You're recording right now?" I question, confused. I figured he wouldn't answer his phone when he's recording.
"Yep," he laughs, and I shrug. "Gta, actually."
"There's also one more thing," I say awkwardly, not knowing if he'll go along with it or not. "I have to work tonight, so I can't stay with Jake when he comes."
"Perfect. I'll get to bond with my girlfriend's brother," Simon jokes. "Seriously though, that's not a problem. He's what? 24?"
"He's 21, Sim," I mutter, realising he didn't know that we're twins.
"But you're 21," he trails off, and I wait for him to figure it out. "Oh, you're twins."
"Yep," I say, mocking Simon when he said it earlier, and popping the p just like he did.
"Anyway, just drop Jake off on your way to work and pick him up on your way home. Does that work?" Simon questions. Sammy motions me to hurry up so I glare at her before turning my back to her.
"Uh, yeah. I feel like I'm getting him a babysitter," I chuckle and hear Simon chuckle as well.
"Anytime babe," he laughs, and I swear my heart skips a beat. He's only ever called me babe over text and hearing him say it is amazing. I smile at the thought.
"Bye sim," I mutter and turn back around to see Jake coming back down. Now in different clothes.
"Bye jayd," Simon says and I take the phone away from my ear as the call is ended.
I press end and make eye contact with Sammy. She pretends to gag causing me to roll my eyes.
I push her shoulder. "Shut up," I mutter before walking over to Jake who's sitting on one of the couches. I join him and rest my head on his shoulder. He's on his phone and texting someone.
lissa <3
I furrow my eyebrows, does Jake have a girlfriend that he's not telling me about.
"Who's Lissa?" I ask but Jake just glares at me in response. We finished typing something before looking at me again.
"It's Lissa as in Alissa, not Lissa as in Lisa," Jake grumbles and I roll my eyes. I had no idea how her name was pronounced, I've never met her. "When are we leaving?"
"When I go for work," I answer before getting up and walking towards the stairs. I have to actually start getting ready for work considering it's my shift in an hour.
"When is that?" Jake whines as Sammy walks out of the kitchen holding a sandwich.
"In an hour," Sammy replies for me, clearly annoyed with Jake.
I hear Sammy and Jake bicker between each other as I walk up the stairs. Sammy's hungover, so she's not in a good mood but she considers Jake one of her friends.
My phone rings just as I enter my room. I pull it out of my pocket seeing it's Harry texting me.
