I sigh into my pillow, realising that Simon isn't going to reply. He probably fell asleep.

"Love me," I hear before a weight jumps on me, causing me to squeal, being scared from the sudden noise and contact. I turn over to see Simon laying on top of me.

"You dick," I mutter before grabbing a pillow and hitting him with it. He frowns at me before wrapping his arms around my body, tightly. His head is laying on my chest and his feet are hanging off the end of the bed. I sigh, still mad at him, but not being able to express it since he looks so cute and innocent.

"I'm sorry," he says innocently before looking up at me. He sticks out his bottom lip and makes his eyes bigger, causing my heart to swell. I could barely see him since the lights are off, but he still looks cute.

"You scared me," I whisper causing him to chuckle. He sits up and awkwardly hovers over me before shuffling to sit next to me. I sit up more so that we're pretty much at the same height before he rests his head on my shoulder.

"So," he starts, pausing for a second to figure out what he wants to talk about, "how'd you end up with Harry?"

"I was at a dinner party with my team, and I needed to go outside, because it was boring as hell. He was walking backwards, for some reason, and walked into me. After that we just went to the movies and ended up at a park near here. It started raining, and neither of us had cars, so he took us here. Now, I'm stuck with you," I say, sarcastically rolling my eyes at the end. Although he doesn't see that.

"Lucky you," Simon says seriously causing a smile to appear on my face. "I know you love me," he states before grabbing my left hand with his right and intertwining our fingers.

He continues to play with our hands, not once just keeping them still. Neither of us say anything, but it's comfortable, because we don't feel the need to. The silence of our voices causes me to hear his breaths and mine, his being slightly longer. I can't hear anything else from the house, meaning the boys are all occupied.

"Is it weird that I feel like I've known you for forever?" Simon whispers, being delicate with the silence. We make eye contact, and our hands stay still, just holding the other.

"I don't know, but I feel the same," I whisper back, noticing the increase in my heart rate. We don't break eye contact, and Simon glances down to my lips, not very subtlety. His eyes linger there before looking back to my own.

"What would you do if I kissed you right now?" he asks, now concentrating on my eyes, trying to see any emotions in them.

"I don't know," I mutter, suddenly losing my voice. Simon makes me so nervous, almost more than I've ever felt with one person before. This was different from other times though, it feels like a good thing.

"Is it okay if I find out?" Simon asks gently, still searching my eyes. I nod slightly before he takes his left hand and places it on my cheek.

Our lips collide, and it is so different. By no means is this my first kiss, but the others didn't seem like this. The others seemed rough, simple, and quick, but this, this is gentle, caring, and passionate, despite the lack of history between us.

It feels so cliche, like everything around us has disappeared, and I feel silly for thinking it, but it's true.

We continue to kiss, almost forgetting that this is only the second time we've really met.

We pull away, and Simon rests his forehead against mine. Our breaths are mixing with each other's, and my eyes are still closed, partially scared to open them and partially too comfortable to.

Once I finally do, I see that he's staring at me, taking in every detail of my face causing me to feel self conscious.

"You're beautiful," Simon says gently, running his thumb back and forth on my jaw line. I can't help but smile, before pulling away and burying my face in the crook of his neck, embarrassed. "You don't have to be embarrassed."

"Where'd you get this sudden boost of confidence?" I ask, looking back to Simon. He shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't know. Last time I was meeting you for the first time, and I guess, this feels like the millionth time," he says, and I smile slightly. He glances down to our still intertwined hands, smiling as well.

"I'm glad you're confident Si," I say using the nickname I've called him many times online.

We, yet again, lay in silence for awhile, neither of us feeling the need to talk.

"I don't have a nickname for you," he says softly, stating the obvious. He's only ever called me babe, Jay, and Jayden. I don't say anything, not knowing what to say anyway. "What about Jayd?"

"Jayd," I repeated, saying it for myself. I like it. It's simple, yet different, which makes it special. Nobody has ever even mentioned that as a nickname. "But do other people call you Si?"

"Yeah," he admits so I sigh, realising my nickname for him isn't as special. "That's fine, it's still special coming from you."

"Sim," I simply say, avoiding Simon's gaze and looking at our hands. I'm slightly hoping he won't think of the video game, and will just think it's cute.

"Sim. I like that," Simon says gently before chuckling slightly causing me to look at him confused. "We've only met twice and we already have nicknames for each other."

"That's because we're special," I say softly before Simon nuzzles his head into the crook of my neck, getting comfortable.

I feel my eyelids get heavy, and soon I fall asleep, thinking of Simon.

Aye Mate!

Guys, I text my friends that all the time, so it's a way to say hello...

Okay, and picture above is obviously credited to me. ^^

Normally if I change the cover I wouldn't do this, but I was actually quite proud of the previous one, except I really want Simon on the cover now.

So if you're confused or something, it's just a cover change. :)

#earlyupdating

Hope you're still loving this book, it's getting more into the pov, long chapters.
