"Jay it's fine, let's just go," Jake says crutching over to me. He broke his leg in the car accident. Luckily, it's just broken and not shattered.
"Jake, what if I lose you? What if you get hurt in the crowd?" I ask and Jake rolls his eyes before carefully balancing. He then pulls out his phone.
"You're overthinking this Jay," Jake states before passing me his phone. I read over the text messages.
Simon can u pls come to the party?
Jakob party? simon I'm still healing
Simon no it's not like a party party
Simon there's not gonna be alcohol or a bunch of crazy people
Simon it's just gonna be me and some of my friends. not too many people
Simon Jay's been stressed and you're hurt and we just wanna try and help
Jakob I'll try to convince her to go, but I doubt she'll agree
"This doesn't mean anything," I argue causing Jake to sigh. There's still going to be more than the six I've met. I don't want to be overwhelmed let alone Jake being overwhelmed.
"Jay, it's-" Jake starts but gets cut off by someone ringing the doorbell.
Who the hell is here right now?
"Jayden, get the door!" Sam yells from upstairs causing me to roll my eyes.
"What fuck buddy did you invite over now?" I ask back, but don't get a reply.
I walk over to the door quickly before opening it. Instead of meeting some random person's face like I expected, I'm met with Harry's.
"Get your's and Jake's shit together, because, whether you like it or not, you're going to this party," Harry announces causing me to glare at him. "Don't glare at me, I'm older than you. I have the authority here."
"No you're not," I say bluntly causing Harry to glare at me. I quickly retaliate by standing on my tiptoes and sticking my nose into the air. "Don't glare at me, I'm older than you. I have the authority here," I mock causing Harry to groan before he quickly picks me up and props me over his shoulder. "Dickhead."
