"Ok, so where was I again?" I asked.
"When the annoying dude came!" Star reminded.
"Okay, thanks for that." I said.
"Get on with the story already!" Alekz said impatiently
"Alright, alright here goes!" I said
So I told them all about the guy being Migel and everything that happened a while ago. The 'Micah' calling thing, the so unneeded apolgy from him and me not exactly forgiving him- but if he sees it that way, there's nothing I can do about it, not to be rude though.
"Woah Micah! I never knew you were actually kind enough to forgive him, after all that he's done!" said Kaela.
"Yeah! I mean like, he did treat you like a friend and all, but, after his trip though, when he came back from Italy, you know he acted as if he never even knew you!" explained Star while chewing on a taco.
"I know, but I guess it just.... Wait. Star, where did you get that taco?" I ask. Seriously, I didn't even see her stand up.
"Over there." she pointed at a counter desk where our canteen lady stood.
"Why?" I ask again.
She was quiet for a while. "Uh.. No reason!" Then she hid the taco behind her back.
"Whatever. But, hey! We should hang out again sometime!" said Eunice.
"Yeah! Maybe catch a movie or something!" Katrina added.
"But when?" asked Mikaylah.
"Yeah, when?" I ask
"I dunno, whenever we feel like it?" says Eunice.
"Sure Eunice, suuuuure." The rest of us said.
*beep.
"I think that was my phone!" I said. I slipped it out of my pocket and opened a message from my sister.
"Oh great!" I said almost screaming.
"Why?" They all said in unison.
"My sister said that she has already left with her friends!"
"That's bad!" said Herschel.
"Yeah and to make things worse, SHE BROUGHT THE CAR WITH HER." I said trying to keep still.
"Oh Micah. If you want, we can just give you a ride in our car!" Star offered.
"No it's fine! Ooh! I almost forgot. If we want to hang out again, don't we have to get each other's numbers first?" I say.
"Oh yeah!" they said.
After we exchanged phone numbers, I guess I'm ready to go. "I have to leave now guys! If I don't want to miss the bus ride home! Thanks again." I stood up and we all said goodbye with all the hugs and kisses and I went staright down.
When I pushed pass the door, I came across Adriel, one of the most brightest students here in CA. I used to like him back in our days, so much! And I will never forget the time when I regreted it.
I don't have the courage to talk to him since I was the shy type so Kaela told me to send letters to him. I did. But he would always give me bad feedbacks of rejection so I told Kaela that I had to stop. He left for college after that school year.
"Hey." he said blankly. Not very cheerful, just blankly.
"Hi." I said in return. We didn't make an effort to start a conversation, though. We just passed by each other.
I continued walking down the street when I heard someone call me.
"Hey! Micah Grace!" Migel, as you've guessed. I just ignored him.
"I know you hear me!" he said again, following me now. I still don't say a thing, quickly making a turn to the next street.
"Oh come on! Are you still mad? I thought I was forgiven!" he said. That triggered something in me, I stopped on my tracks, turned to face him and practically yelled. "Are you sure about that?"
"Well you said 'sure'," he said, very calmly.
"Yeah, but.... Look, I still need to clear things in my head, okay? So until then, you can't say for sure that I've forgiven you because I'm not even sure myself!" I'm still yelling.
"Alright! Calm down." He said.
I stared at him then continued walking.
"You know, before you were such an angel. But now, I don't know what you are anymore." I hear him call out from behind me.
What did he just say?
