I have no idea how and when I fell asleep but I woke up exactly when we touched down. I looked over to my right and was greeted by the sight of a sleeping Migel. He looked so cozy in his jacket, with his hair all tousled while embracing the small sling bag in his arms as if it were something he was tasked to guard with his life.

No. I don't even find that cute.

Miraculously though, I had successfully survived ignoring him the whole time both of us were still fully awake about 12 hours ago. I suppose the whole ride lasted for approximately 18 hours at that. The first few hours around, I fought the urge to shove the delicious food all at Migel's face when they served us lunch. Believe me, he was very talkative even from way back then. Now, when I say very, I seriously mean very.

He always found a way to start another senseless topic right after the previous conversation just ended. By means of communication, practically all I did was nod, shake my head, or shrug. Sometimes even forcing out a laugh if I had to. Migel did all the talking. Though he stopped for a moment to focus on his food, I guess.

After the flight attendant went around to collect our trash, I saw him, from the corner of my eye, take a small book out of the sling bag and began to read. I guess he isn't that much interested in the movie that was playing on the mini screen at the back of the seats in front of us. Then moments after that, his soft snores could be heard which were honestly much better to hear than his actual voice.

I began to gather up my things as I felt the plane slowly roll to a stop, being extra careful not to wake the sleeping figure beside me. I wait a while for the flight attendants to announce that it's time for us to exit the plane. Carefully standing up, I hug my purse tight as I walk over to the aisle, not daring to wake the little monster who's currently still deep in slumber. Then in a flash, I join those who were in front of us and we slowly walk our way out of the plane and into the airport where the rest of our luggage were placed.

I can't help but muster a victorious smile as I spot my luggage. Migel can clearly take care of himself. It isn't like we're together anyway, so he's definitely not my responsibility. Let the flight attendants deal with him.

I went over to the food station and got some coffee at one of the stands along with a yellow frosted donut. I was totally ready to take a bite because dang, I didn't even know I was this hungry when my phone decided to vibrate in my pocket, hindering me midway from stuffing the delicious treat in my mouth. After checking the caller's ID I immediately pressed the 'answer' button, held my phone to my ear and finally took a bite of my donut.

"Hel-"

"Why did you do that?!" my sister's voice was half-screaming at the other end so I had to hold my phone at a safe distance as reflex.

"Wow Hannah, aren't you even gonna ask if I've arrived already? Or if I'm doing fine at the least?" I asked while carefully chewing my donut, savoring it's down-right amazing taste.

"Well I sure as hell know that you're definitely doing fine enough to leave Migel behind." she said a little more calmly and I swear I almost spit the chewed-up donut bits back out. "He called me a few moments ago."

I mentally cringed for some weird reason. "Uh.. Who are we talking about?"

"Don't play innocent on me," she warned. "You left the poor boy on the plane!"

"Why do you sound so concerned as if I've done something so utterly wrong to him?" I asked then took a sip of my coffee that got colder by the minute to keep myself from puking out my donut.

"Well you did," she said. "Leaving your friend behind at an airplane while he's sleeping can already be considered as something 'so utterly wrong', mind you."
