(Y/N)'s POV
My best friend and I are currently training soccer in a soccer field inside our campus.
Also Niall Horan, captain of the boy's soccer team, is training on the same soccer field and he's shirtless which is distracting me.
“Have you ever learned how to block (Y/N)?” My best friend teasingly said
“Well if you could just slow it down, maybe it will be easier.” I said making up a lame excuse that I know she's not going to believe
“Well how about you focus? You know like not staring at Niall?” She said
“Well he's shirtless.” I said as I felt my cheeks burning
“No wonder you can't focus.” She said while playfully rolling her eyes at me
“Let's just continue our training at my house. How's that sound?” I said while getting my duffel bag on one of the bleachers
“That will be great, because Niall won't be around.” She smirked at me
“Whatever, I'll see you later.” I said and this time it was my turn to playfully roll my eyes

I just got out of the locker room and I'm headed to the parking lot. Once I opened the door of the driver's seat, I heard my car door hit the other that is parked behind me.
“Oh shit.” I mumbled
I look around the parking lot if someone saw me accidentally hit someone's car, gladly nobody saw what happened. I hurriedly went inside my car and quickly drove to my house.
When I got back to my house, I saw my best friend sitting outside the front door waiting for me.
“You're late.” She said
“Well I bought us some snacks and drinks.” I said while raising the paper bag
“You're forgiven.” She said making me chuckle

It was 8am when I arrived in school. My first period starts 8:30 so I'm not late. After putting my car keys on the front pocket of my backpack, the principal called me.
“Ms. (Y/L/N).”
“Good morning, principal Morgan." I greeted
“Follow me on my office. Now.” He said making my eyes widened
Am I in trouble?
What did I do?
While I was following him to his office, I start to get nervous. It was my first time to be called in the principal's office and I don't have any clue on what the heck is going on.
“You're innocent (Y/N) just be cool. You've done nothing wrong.” I said to myself as I was trying stay calm and not over think
When we entered to his office, I was surprised to see Niall Horan also inside the principal's office.
“Take a seat.” Mr. Morgan said while pointing at the empty seat beside Niall
“What's the matter?” I asked as I sat down
“I believe this is you.” Mr. Morgan said while showing me a CCTV footage from yesterday when I accidentally hit the car parked beside me
“I--”
“It's my car that you just hit.” Niall coldly said
My eyes widened in shock “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit it. It was--” I tried to explain but I was cut off by our principal
“Well, you have to pay for the damage. Because that car doesn't belong to him, it belongs to his stepfather.”
“And he is going to kill me when he finds out. So pay up, (Y/L/N)!” Niall stands up from his seat and his voice was full of anger when he said it
“Well excuse me, Horan. I'm here to pay for the dent, not your damage head. Are you that stupid?! I said I'm sorry.” I said in annoyance, he was getting to my nerves I didn't expect him to be an asshole “I will pay for everything that I damaged which is a slight dent and a scratch from your damn borrowed car. You don't have to be mean or rude for someone who messed up!” I added before walking out of the office
I was so mad at him, I know what I did was wrong but he didn't have to be a jerk.

“Hey, where have you been?” My best friend said once she saw me walking through the school hallway
“At the principal's office.” I mumbled
“What happen? Did you punch someone?” She asked while we are walking on our way to our first class
“I didn't punch someone. I wish I did.” I said “But no, I accidentally hit Niall Horan's car yesterday before I left school.”
“What?!” She exclaimed
“For our first conversation, it was messed up.” I said “He was a complete asshole!”
“Why? I thought you like him.” She questioned
“Yeah, but when he started talking it was a major turn off.” I explained
Once we got inside the classroom the first person I see is him, sitting right in front of the class.
“Great.” I mumbled to myself
~• 1 week later •~
“Here's the money.” I said while handing the money to Niall
“Thanks.” He said as he took it
“I'm sorry, it took me a week.” I said while rubbing the back of my neck “But that's enough.”
“Oh, it's okay.” He said “I appreciate it.”
“So, I better get going.” I awkwardly said and walked away
“Wait!” Niall grabbed my arm making me turn around and face him
I was shook when he touched me, so he quickly released my arm and he nervously scratch the back of his neck.
“Uh..” He said trying to form the right words to say “Can I ask you out?”
My eyes widened and I can feel my cheeks burning. Is he joking right now?
“I was rude for the past couple of days and I'm sorry I was angry. I just want to make it up to you.” He said while he was putting his hands inside on the front pocket of his jeans
“S-Sure.” You smiled “Tomorrow?”
“Y-Yeah. I'll pick you up at 7.” He nervously chuckled “So, I'll see you tomorrow then.”
“See you.” I said before we go into a different direction
~• 2 months later •~
“That was the best day of my life.” Niall said while we are cuddled up on his couch
“You were really rude though.” I chuckled
“Well if I wasn't, we won't be together now.” He smirked
You smiled at him while staring at his plump lips.
“Are you going to kiss me?” He giggled
I didn't answer, I just inched up my face closer until we closed the gap between our lips.
“I love you so much.” He mumbled after pulling away from the kiss
“I love you too.”
