Niall has been stressing out lately because of work. He's been in and out of the studio, when he's home he writes song and answer calls from his boss or his management. You barely spend time with him and he barely spend time for himself and it worries you.
It's almost dinner time and you don't know what to cook so you decided to text Niall. You also missed eating with him when he's home but recently he's been staying at the studio for hours.

I won't be home by 10pm, babe :( I'll just have to eat at McDonald's before I get home. Don't wait up for me.

You sighed after seeing he's text "Not again." you thought to yourself
Because of your lost of appetite, you decided to have mac and cheese instead. After eating your dinner, you went upstairs to get ready for bed and do your skin care routine.
Around 2am you heard someone shuffling beside you and a pair of strong arms wrapping around your stomach area.
"Babe?" You moan and stir sideways so you can see the person
"Hey bub, it's okay it's just me. Go back to sleep, sorry to wake you." He gently said while using his other hand to grab the sheets and covered it around you two. "Love you." He said and kissed your forehead
Early in the morning, you were surprised that Niall was still sleeping at around 9am. He usually leaves at 8am. Maybe it's his dayoff today that's why.
You went downstairs to have some breakfast. You made avocado toast for yourself and a clubhouse sandwhich for Niall. As you were finishing his sandwich you heard Niall coming down and he gave you a peck on the cheek.
"Morning, love." He said sitting in front of you
"No work today?" You asked him giving him his plate and tea
"I asked a dayoff today. I miss you so much." He said giving you a cheeky grin and it made you blush
"Ok fine, whatever." You chuckled sitting beside him
"Why don't you miss me?" He asked after sipping his tea
"Of course I miss you. You've been working lately." You said grabbing a bite of your avocado toast
"You wanna go to the movies?" He asked you "We'll watch Five Feet Apart. Will you like that?"
"That'll be fun but I really want to stay home. If that's okay with you. I mean we can watch some movies here just like old times." You suggested
"Okay, I'll just head to the groceries to get us some snacks and drinks, yeah?" He said getting up and cleaning his plate and mug
"So it's like a date?" You blushed asking him that
"Of course." He said walking towards you and kissed you on the lips
Later that night, you and Niall are watching Everything, everything with snacks and drinks on the coffee table. You were both so comfortable watching when he's phone rang in the middle of the movie.
"It's my boss." He said standing up and walking out to the backyard
You watched him walk back and forth through the glass door and run his hands through his hair. He looks stress and frustrated. It looks like a serious business because he's been on the phone for a long time now.
As he turned off his phone, he went back inside and sat beside me. He was tense while watching the movie and you can tell he's not in the mood anymore.
"Is there something wrong?" You asked as you sit up
"He wants me to record the song this weekend and it's not even finish yet. I can't finish it within this week, I have a lot interviews to go and golf going around." He answered throwing his head back to the couch and closing his eyes taking a deep breath
"Hey." You said sitting to his lap and gave his temple a massage "I love you."
"Thanks babe." He said sitting up and wrapping his arms around your waist and putting he's head on the crook of your neck "I'm so tired to be honest. I've been so stress and I just want to wake up in the morning with no more deadlines and just my spend time with you."
"I really appreciate you for spending time with me today. I really miss this." You whispered running your fingers through his hair because it calms him down
Then he cried in the crook of your neck and his hold to you got tighter
"Awe my poor thing." You thought to yourself
You hugged him very tight and pulled away so you can wipe the tears that is running through his cheek. You hate seeing him cry like this. He rarely cries in front of you. It breaks your heart to see him like this.
"It's going to be okay. You can do it. I know it's hard but everything will be worth it. Just keep on going okay? You'll be great. I just know it." You said holding his face and gave him a kiss on the forehead
"You're really the best, (Y/N). You always know what to say. You're bringing me back to life." He said "I love you."
"I love you too."
