I'm sorry for not updating in a few days. Tbh, I was not in the mood to write and I don't want to post a new imagine if I'm not feeling it or proud of it.
And also I was busy spending my Christmas with my family so I also don't have the time to write a new one.

It is the last day of 2018 and you are spending your New Year's Eve in Ireland with Niall's family.
"Are you ready?" Niall asked you before knocking on his mom's house
"I'm still nervous." You answered while trying to fix your dress
"Stop." He said wrapping his arm around you and giving you a kiss on the forehead "You're a charmer, love."
You can't help but blush at his comment "I hope they'll like me."
"They'll love you, (Y/N). Just relax, okay?" He said and you nod
Then he knocked on the door and both of you were greeted by his brother, Greg.
"Mom! (Y/N) and Niall are here!" He said then he let you guys enter the house giving you both a hug
"You're prettier in person, (Y/N)." Greg said after he hugged you
"Thank you." You blushed at his compliment
Niall took your denim jacket off and hang it on the rack then Maura walked in and you got nervous, it was your first time meeting his Mom.
"Oh is this the famous (Y/N) that Niall's been talking about." Maura said giving you a warm welcoming hug
"Okay, mom. Don't embarrass me in front of my girlfriend." He said giving her a hug after we pulled away
"Well you're right, hon. She is gorgeous." She said and you smiled feeling your cheeks burning up
"This is for you, Ms. Maura." You said giving her a box of homemade brownies and cookies "Niall told me you like these."
"They are the best! You'll come begging for more, I promise." Niall said
"Niall." You said slapping his arm playfully
"Well he also mentioned me you love baking and he told me you're a good baker. Can't wait to try these out! Thank you, dear." She said "Greg why don't you put them on the plate so the family gets to taste it."
"Your house is beautiful." You said and it's true it is beautiful
"Oh why thank you. Well I love this house and I love decorating." She said
"We do have the same hobby. I also love decorating that's why Niall gets pissed off when I always asked him to go to Ikea just to check some furnitures." You chuckled
The talking went on and on then you helped Maura prepare dinner while Niall helped Greg prepare the grill
"You don't know how happy I am, (Y/N)." Maura said while mixing the salad "I hope he'll marry you someday and you two will have kids."
"Well I'm happy to hear that, Maura." You said, she insisted you to call her 'Maura' so you think that it's a step up "But Niall and I haven't talked about marriage and having kids. We really want to take this relationship in a slow pace."
"Oh honey, I'm already claiming it. Next year you will be married to him and by the end of the year you guys are pregnant." She said and you laughed
"Mom, I'll steal her for a while. Is that okay?" Niall said entering the room
"Sure, Niall. Don't worry, I'm almost done here. You can go mingle with your aunts and uncles so you can introduce your gorgeous girlfriend to them." She said wiping her hands with a rag
Niall introduced you to his aunts and uncles and you were so nervous meeting them but they welcomed you with open arms.
"You better keep this one, alright?" His uncle said to him
"I'll keep her the rest of my life, Uncle." He said looking at you
Then you felt butterflies build on the pit of your stomach and you feel your cheeks burning up
"Dinner's ready!" Theo said shouting in the middle of the room and all of you laughed
"He's a show off, just like his uncle." You said to Niall patting his chest
"He's gonna get a lot of girls someday." He said
Time flies when you do have a good time. His relatives are so funny and kind. No wonder Niall has those traits, they are so welcoming and they treat you like you're part of their family.
It was almost midnight and all of you are gathered around the garden, waiting for the countdown.
"Thank you for being part of my 2018, (Y/N). You mean so much to me. I can't wait to spend the new year with you. I love you so much, baby." Niall said whispering those words to you while his arms are wrapped around your torso
"You are my plot twist, Ni. I love you so much. Can't wait to spend the new year with you." You turned around, wrapping your arms around his neck, pressing your forehead to his
The countdown started and all of his relatives started counting
"Ten.. Nine.. Eight.." They chanted while you and Niall are still in that position
"Forever and always?" He said
"Five.. Four.. Three.."
"Forever and always." You answered
"One.. Happy New Year!" Everyone said and everyone starts to cheer and you can hear fireworks in the sky
You and Niall kissed under the sky, you felt the spark just like the day you and Niall had first kissed
"I love you, (Y/N) (Y/L/N)."
