(Y/N)'s POV
I woke up around 7am on a Saturday morning, because today is my 18th birthday. My parents planned a debut party for me and the venue is at a hotel where we are currently checked-in, so I have to get ready because the party starts at 5pm.
I walked over to the luxurious bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and have a shower. Lou Teasdale, the hairstylist, will come around 9am in my hotel room after I eat breakfast.
I looked at my phone to see a lot of notifications from all of my social media accounts, greeting me a happy birthday. But I didn't see Niall's.
“Maybe he is still sleeping.” I thought to myself
After tucking my pastel blue and white striped long sleeves into my jeans, I paired it with my low-cut white CDGxConverse, then I went downstairs to go to the restaurant to have breakfast with my family.
I had scrambled eggs with avocado toast, hash brown, and an iced coffee. My parents left after they ate to check
if everything is going alright on the venue. Since it was still early, I decided to stay and kill my time in the restaurant by reading a book on my phone. While I was too busy reading, if Lou didn't text me that she's on her way up, I didn't notice that it was time for me to leave. So I stood up from my table and went straight back to my room.
When the elevator opens, I saw Lou standing on the foyer, with a luggage that I'm pretty sure that is full of make-up and hair stuff.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, I lost track of time.” I said opening my hotel room and letting her in
“It's okay, I just got here like 2 minutes ago.” She said and hugged me “You look beautiful as always and of course, Happy birthday!”
“Thanks, Lou.” I said and pulled away “We could do the hair and make up here. Is this okay?” I said guiding her to the living room
“This is perfect, hon.” She said putting her stuff down “Before I forget.” She added giving me a present
“Gosh, Lou. You didn't have to.” I said and hugged her again
“What kind of friend I am if I will not give you a present on your birthday.” She said smiling at me waiting for me to open it
I smiled and said thank you. When I opened it, it was a charm bracelet that she got from Italy.
“This is beautiful. I'm going to wear it today.” I said “Thank you so much.”
“You're welcome, hon. Now let's get ready.” She said and I sat down on her 'director's chair'
After an hour or so, my hair and make-up is done. I looked so beautiful, Lou did great.
