You are celebrating your christmas this year at the Horan's. You are very excited because it's your first time celebrating christmas at Ireland.
And since it's your first time, you decided to prank Niall. So this first time will be memorable.
You are gonna propose to him and ask him to marry you.
You bought a cheap ring before you left. Hoping that it will be a success. Niall's family are gonna be there and you asked Greg to help you. You and Greg are like siblings, because since you were an only child you've always wanted an older brother and Greg was there to play the role.
"We're almost there, babe." Niall said intertwining his hand to you
"I can't wait." You said gripping his hand, your kinda nervous at the same time. First time spending your christmas at Ireland and it's your first time to be away with your family. You'll be staying at Ireland for 5 days.
"Are you excited?" Niall asked you stopping in front of their house. You looked at it and you were nervous and excited at the same time
"I guess so.." You said saying it nervously
"Don't worry they're excited to see you. Mom is very excited to see you." He said emphasizing the word 'mom' and it made you laugh and he opened the car door and you went out while Niall is getting the gifts for his family at the trunk
When you rang the doorbell, Greg opened the door greeting you with his warm hugs.
"Merry Christmas little brother and little sis." He said while hugging the two of you "Here let me help you with those presents." He said getting the gifts that you are holding
"Thanks. Merry Christmas to you too, Greg." I said entering the cozy house
Niall insisted to remove my coat and hung it. Then, Theo came running to the two of you
"Aunt (Y/N)! Uncle Niall!" He said hugging the both of you with his chubby arms
"Merry Christmas!" Niall and I said it to Theo
After greeting Niall's relatives you went to the kitchen to see Maura putting the sauce on the pasta
"That's smells great." You said entering the kitchen, and she put the bowl down and walk towards you.
"(Y/N)! Merry Christmas sweetheart! God, your so beautiful. I miss you so much! I'm glad you came." She said wiping her hands on the apron and hugged you after.
"Thank you and Merry Christmas! Well I'm glad I came too and I miss you so much. And that pasta you are making, it smells so good." You said blushing after the compliment she said
"Hi mum! Merry Christmas." Niall entered the kitchen hugging her mom "Is that my favorite pasta?" He said going to the food and smelled it
"Yes, and don't you dare eating it." Maura said pointing a finger at Niall and it made you giggle "Why don't you get the cooler on the backyard and put it at the living room so the boys can have a nice cold drink." She said to Niall and he nod and kissed my forehead before he took off
"You two are so cute together." She said going back to the pasta and it made you just smiled and helped her in the kitchen
It was now the time for speeches before opening the presents. It's a tradition to the Horan's to do some speeches and ofcourse you made one for the prank.
It was Niall's turn to do his speech and Greg is now wiggling his eyebrows to you which means after Niall's speech your next.
"Well Merry Christmas everyone!" He said raising his drink "Well first of all, I wanna thank everyone who came to celebrate with us. I wanna thank my family for organizing this wonderful celebration, and I thank Mum for cooking the best food ever." That made everyone chuckled "And I wanna thank my girlfriend, (Y/N), for being the best girlfriend. I'm so happy that you celebrated Christmas with us and I love you so much. Thank you for being supportive and I don't know what will happen to me when your not here. I just love you so much." He said walking towards you and gave you a kiss on the lips which made everyone 'awe'
"Thank you, baby." You said pulling away on the kiss. You were komda nervous right now because it's time to prank Niall. "Okay, it's my turn. Uhm, I just wanna thank Maura for welcoming me and inviting me to celebrate Christmas with you guys and I'm still kinda overwhelmed because you guys are so nice and welcoming, thank you." You said and took a big sigh and you took the velvet box inside the pocket of your jacket and continued your speech "Niall, I don't know how lucky I am to have you as my boyfriend. Your such a gentleman and I know I haven't been the best girlfriend but you were still there for me. I love you so much and thank you for taking care of me. I can't wait to have kids with you and live with you until we are gray and old. Niall James Horan.." You said kneeling in front of him "Will you marry me?" Niall's eyes went wide and everyone in the room became quiet
"Babe are you serious?" Niall asked you nervously doesn't know how to react and your holding your laughter because you know you just pranked him
"Yes I am." You said trying to be serious
Niall was still speechless and his mouth opened
"Okay I was kidding. I pranked ya!" You said to Niall hugging him and laughing at his reaction everyone joined you laugh and Niall was still stunned. You held his face with your two hands "Niall, I was kidding. Are you okay?" You said laughing
"Uh, what just happen?" He asked you trying to process the things that just happened a while ago
"I love you baby and Merry Christmas." You said to pecking his nose
"Your pain in the ass, you know that?" He said hugging you, kissing your cheeks
"I know." You said chuckling "Greg video taped it, just incase you are missing it." You winked at him
"Your lucky that I love you." He said and you smiled "I love you too." You said pecking his lips
