Chapter 18

Jasmines POV

Bright light and shadows danced on my closed eyelids. I could feel a soft breeze on my face and something tickle my arms and legs. I slowly opened my eyes and realized I was laying in grass, sitting up I noticed there was a lake not far from where I was. "Am I dead?" I softly asked while looking down and patting my body making sure I had all my body parts still in tact.

"No child, you are not dead." What the ? I looked to my right and saw the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. She was sitting next to me, smiling down at me like I was a cute little girl. Her hair was as white as the moon and eyes so blue, you'd think she might be blind. All of her features screamed perfection and the aura she gave off was so comforting.

"If I'm not dead, then where am I? The last thing I remember was in a car with excruciating pain coming from my neck and body." I slowly touched the spot on my neck that originally had been tender, now not feeling any type of pain.

"You are sleeping but your mind is here with me. We are in the Planes between planes." She smiled warmly at me.

"Who are you?"

"I go by different names but for you and the ones that surround you, I'm the Moon Goddess." She spoke very evenly and relaxed. I just nodded with understanding, so basically she's is some sort of God. I know that every religion, culture, time and such has had their own Gods. I'm guessing this is something like that.

"Yes, my child.. You're correct" Again her warm smile made me smile. I didn't even try to ask how she knew what I was thinking.

"So miss moon goddess, why am I here?" I slowly laid back down onto the soft grass and closed my eyes awaiting peacefully for her answer. I felt her slowly lower herself next to me and exhale softly.

"Well Jasmine, you my dear are in a very unique situation. You see, soon you will find out where you come from and what the history with your family is, I wont spoil it for you tho. But that is not the issue, the issue here is that it looks like you were born to be able to choose from 2 Alphas. Not many are able to choose, they're usually just born to be so and so's mate. I also see that you were forcefully marked by an Alpha and for that I want to apologize because I do not agree with that method. I love the idea of love, and I want you to be able to choose who you want to be with. Therefor I will be removing both marks from you, you now have your free will back and are able to pick."

I sat there for a few minutes trying to process this. I couldn't believe that Gabriel had marked me and taken my free will to go and come as I please. I felt taken advantage of and betrayed. This whole werewolves exist thing was slowly becoming something I was okay with. At least the moon Goddess gave me options, I wonder how Gabriel will feel.

"He will be okay, you can tell him if you'd like about out conversation. I just want to tell you that you can and will over come EVERYTHING that will come your way. Always keep that in mind. You are one of my few creations I pride myself in. Not that I don't love all my children, but your heart is what I love the most about you."

"Thank you so much for those encouraging words. So who do I end up with?" I turned to look at her and wiggled my eyebrows suggestively.

All she did was shake her head and give me a knowing look. Like a "you know better than to ask me that question" look.

"It's time for you to wake up, my child." she nudged me with her elbow.

"But I feel so relaxed and in no pain. I don't want to wake up, cant I just stay here?" I whined like a little kid begging their mom for candy

"You have to go back. You have so much to accomplish, stop whining and wake up. You have to want to wake up or you will parish." She sounded worried and stern.

"Okay, fine" I huffed. She leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. Everything got so bright I had to shield my eyes. All I could here was a steady beeping and people murmuring. All of a sudden I had a rush of the most horrible pain I've ever felt in my life. My whole body was in pain and as much as I tried I couldn't move.

"You have to want to wake up" Those words echoed in my head. She's right, its mind over matter. I willed and willed til I slowly felt myself coming out of what seemed like a thick fog.

I slowly opened my eyes and had to blink a few time in order to focus my vision. There where bright white lights above me and I was in a all white room. I could here the murmuring but couldn't make out where it was coming from.

"Water" That was the only word I could make out. My throat was so dry I couldn't even swallow correctly.

"Hey hey sweetie, Ill get you some water." A lady in a white doctors jacket patted my hand and poured me some ice water. She slowly adjusted my bed so I was sitting upright. I was now able to see clearly, and there was no one in my room but she and I. On the other side of what looked like a fogged out mirror, I could see a group of shadows huddled together.

"Where am I?" I asked after taking a long sip and munching on this bomb ass crushed hospital ice.

"You're in the infirmary, you have been in a coma for a few days. You had a few broken bones but they have completely healed. I don't know how but they did within hours of you coming in. But you might still hurt because your body is sore. There are a few people waiting to see you, would you like them to come in?" She asked raising her one eyebrow.

"Sure that's fine." I weakly smiled and kept crunching on my ice.

She disappeared for a sec and then reentered with a group following behind her. Michelle's belly was the first thing I noticed and it was HUGE! She could barley keep her balance and It didn't help that she was trying to walk past everyone at speeds she wasn't capable of reaching.

The rest of the group consisted of Damon, Gabriel, Jason and the doctor. For some reason I was expecting to see my family also but nope. Maybe they weren't made aware of the accident I just went thru.

Damon pushed past everyone else and reached for my hand. "Jasmine I'm so sorry, this is all my fault. I was trying to help you and drive at the same time, I should've just pulled over." He buried his face into the hallow between my arm and hip. I started to tell him I was okay but was interrupted by a loud growl. Damon was then yanked off of me, but was strong enough to keep himself from being thrown aside.

"Stay away from my mate, I told you once and Ill tell you just one more time. If she needs anything she has to only ask ME for it." Gabriel huddled over me like a mama bear protecting her cubs.

Damon's look on his face was murderous, his eyes were glowing purple, PURPLE! I looked at Damon and gave him a pleading look.

"First of all I just want to say that I am NO ONES claimed mate." I said loudly and held my head up in triumph. I heard everyone gasp and Gabriel sniff me, his face instantly paled.

"How is this possible, I marked you twice. What have you done?! You are MINE and MINE ONLY!!" Gabriel's eyes started glowing amberish and I knew I was about to meet Lucas.

Finally I updated! Again I want to apologize for taking SOOOOO long. Please feel free to comment and let me know how you guys feel about these turn of events. I hope you guys enjoyed the update. I working on the next chapter.
