Married Mate

Chapter 2

Gabriel pov.

The morning was dragging out. The meeting had gone okay I guess. And now I was waiting for this so called photographer to arrive. I'm 25 today and I still haven't found my mate. As an alpha this is making me look bad. The Silver Stone pack needed their Luna & I needed my mate. I was in deep thought when Chelsea's voice broke the silence.

"Mr Taylor your 10:30am appointment if here" she squeaked.  "I had a 10:30 appointment?" "mhhm" she quickly replied. "Chelsea, I've told you not to answer with mhhmhs , is it the photographer?" I ask slightly raising my voice. "ummm"  I hear her whisper something and then she continues "yeah Mrs. Brooks the photographer is here to photograph you". I roll my eyes, her voice is so annoying I can't recall why I actually hired her as my secretary. "well send her in".

Since this morning I've been feeling really on edge, my wolf has been going crazy. It was getting harder and harder to control him. I hear the door open and then close. There's a minute of silence before she speaks. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Taylor and thank you for choosing Brooks Photography. Um Where would you like me to set up?"

I wasn't really in the mood anymore to get my photo taken. All the associates thought it would be a good idea for the magazine to feature me on the cover since it was my birthday. I waved my hand,

"Anywhere you'd like" I responded. I slowly turned to face her and saw the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. "Mate! She's our mate!" My wolf was yelling. I hadn't heard him at all today but now he was yelling. "Okay okay calm down Lucas" I told him, he was starting to give me a headache.  "What did you say your name was"? I asked still in amazement by her beauty.

"Jasmine Ortiz - Brooks but you can call me Mrs. Brooks".  I walked up to her and something shiny caught my eye. "You're married?" I asked in my Alpha tone, but I know it didn't have any affect on her since she was human. I couldn't help my anger. I couldn't believe my mate was married.

I can feel Lucas trying to break free, trying to take control. "She belongs to us! She's our mate!".

I didn't really pay attention since my own thoughts were clouding my mind. All these years I've been searching and patiently awaiting my mate. And when I finally meet her, she's married?! "I expected meeting you a different way" I say trying to keep my anger to myself.

What am I going to say to my pack?!  "Oh your Luna is married already". I could already imagine the shock and rumors that would spread. I can't believe this is happening to me. "Get yourself together! We are the Alpha of the Silver Stone Pack, We fear nothing and no one. We can and will have her." Lucas's voice echoed in my mind. He right! She's mine and I'm going to do everything in my power to get my mate.

"I'm sorry did you not want me to take your photos anymore? Because if you don't I can leave." I snap out of my thoughts as she turns to walk away. I take a deep breath trying to keep my composure. But her scent makes it harder. She smells of Amber. I give her a once over, Man she's gorgeous.

Quickly reaching out to her, I stop her from leaving "No don't leave; you may take the photos now." I turn and make my way to the only bare wall in my office. I turn and face her. I quietly observe as she's quickly adjusting her camera and randomly taking test shots. She bends down and I finally noticed how perfect her body is. She has curves in all the right places. I just want to grab her ass so bad but I quickly stop myself.

Her professional attitude and perfect posture were in full swing. Regardless of our awkward introduction. As I'm staring at her, I occasionally change positions so she won't have to direct and I can just enjoy the show. I couldn't help but admire the passion she was displaying for her work. My pack needed a Luna with passion.

She finished rather quickly and started packing up but not before noticing a pink tint on her cheeks. Was she blushing? Do I make her feel a way? Hmmmm..

"Is something wrong "Ms" brooks?" I asked while chuckling.

"It's "MRS". And no, nothing is wrong, I'm actually all done, thank you so much for your time and again for keeping me in mind for your photos. The payment/check can be done out to Brooks Photography and the photos will be available within a week. I will email them to you along side your receipt and rights to the photos." She straightened her back and looked me in my eyes waiting for a reply.

I handed her an envelope that had a check in it and smirked. "We definitely will be seeing each other again "Msss" Brooks"

She held her cold look and said " It's Mrs. And we'll see."

Ahh there goes that pink I see creeping up her chest to her face and cheeks. She snapped out of her daze and quickly walked away. "You can run little mate but you cant hide from us". Lucas's voice echoed in my mind. And he was right.
