Chapter 23

Jasmines POV

As I lead him into my house I'm feeling overwhelmed by different emotions; Excitement, nervousness, doubt and something else that I don't know how to explain but rest assure it's a good feeling. Sitting down on my couch I pat the spot next to me motioning for him to sit as well.

"I want to thank you for the flowers you sent me the other day, it was a beautiful surprise."

He sits down but somehow makes it so his knee is rubbing against mine.

"It was my pleasure" he smiled

"This ain't chick fil a" the voice inside my head echoed. "Hush!" I mentally yelled at her.

I quickly snapped back when I felt something touching my face.

"You look so beautiful especially when you make those facial expressions of yours." He moved a curl away from my face and gently cupped my cheek. "I've been wanting to do this since the day I met you."

That's the line that all men use, it gets a bit boring sometimes but for some reason hearing it from Damon made me get goosebumps.
"You've wanted to move a strand of hair away from my face?" I asked sarcastically, leave it to me to ruin the moment.

Unexpectedly I didn't get the reaction I was so used to getting from lance, he was constantly putting me down or snapping every time I made a joke. Thankfully this time I was given a dimpled smile and laughter. I could feel the rumble in his chest from his laugh, that's how close he was to me.

"No silly girl, this" he leaned in so quick that I didn't even get a chance to take a breath. His lips crashed onto mine and he quickly overpowered me. He pulled my bottom lip into his mouth and gently sucked and bit down. I couldn't help but moan and open my mouth wider, allowing him more access.

His kisses were so different from the ones Gabriel gave me, Damon kisses were more passionate instead of hungry. It felt like there was fire running all through my body like my body was somehow humming. It's so hard to explain but it felt right, it felt like this was what was meant to happen.

I reached up and grabbed his hair pulling him into me closer. I felt him growl and he quickly lifted me and positioned me so I was straddling his lap.

His kisses moved down my neck and it felt like fire was licking at my skin.

"Jasmine.." his voice dripped of want, need and something else.

"Yes?" I asked while nipping at his ear

"Jasmine, will you be mine?" He stopped kissing me and looked up at me. His eyes seemed to look into my soul and caress my broken heart. He was asking me to be his, he was literally making sure that I knew I had a choice.

"Jasmine, the moment I laid eyes on you my heart knew you were meant to be with me. Will you be mine?"

I looked down into the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen and realized that he was right. The moment I met Damon I felt a sense of peace and safety.

"Ye.." I didn't get to finished my response before his mouth was on mine again. This time the kiss was confident and filled with a promise. A promise I also intended to keep.

Damon kissed me and once again made his way to my neck, stopping just for a second to take a deep inhale, then he bit down. It hurt for just a second but then I was overcome by what I can only describe as a surge or shock that went all the way down to my toes.

He kissed and licked at my neck till the wound was completely healed. Once I was no longer bleeding he picked me up and took me to my room. I could feel the heat and moisture in between my thighs. I couldn't help but moan in anticipation. It felt like I was in dire need of something, almost painful. Then I realized that my heart, soul, and body was in need of him.. like NOW.

"I know, I know... I can smell your need. Don't worry my love, I'm going to give you exactly what you need and much much more." Damon smiled while laying me down on my bed.

He removed his shirt and then his bottoms.. my mouth went dry and I couldn't help but clench my thighs together.. lord help me because this man was about to definitely give me more than I had bargained for.
