Chapter 7

Jasmines POV

Saturday came around way to fast. For the last couple of days I've had lots of sessions but none of them were able to get my mind off of the Handsome Mr. Taylor. 

Was tonight supposed to be a Date? I prayed, Hopefully not because I'm married damn it!

I got home early today and Lance wasn't home yet again. He has been acting really weird for the past couple of days.

I tried asking about the muddy boots but he just got defensive and started yelling at me saying I was a nosy old hag that had no life because I was picking on him for muddy boots. I was taken aback by the way he had came at me because he had never raised his voice and disrespected me before.

I was brushing his attitude off but the moment he called me a nosy old hag I lost it and went off on him cursing and yelling at him in Spanglish. I am not old "Humph" I'm only 24 years old! But after that night he still kept coming home late and also at early hours of the morning. He'd come home all dirty or smelling like he had been in the woods.

I knew that couldn't be right because the nearest land with woods was about an hour drive. The next reasonable explanation was that he was cheating on me.

I walked into my bathroom and quickly undressed and stepped into the hot steaming shower. Closing my eyes the memories of the one sided confrontation Mr. Taylor and I had on Tuesday came rushing back to me.

The way his eyes had turned a dark mossy green from his usual bright green and had pinned me against the wall had my stomach fluttering. Deep down inside I liked it, I liked it more then I was letting myself believe. I got Goosebumps just remembering the way his breath felt on my neck. He was so close I could feel his heart beating against my chest.

My eyes shot open realizing the water had gone cold already. I stepped out and started to look for something to wear. I wanted to look good but not too sexy that had him thinking I actually wanted him. I looked through my closet and found a dress my sister Abby had insisted I buy for Lance on our 1 yr anniversary but I never got to wear it because he had forgotten.

I slipped into the dress and looked into the mirror. The dress was a Short/long strapless black dress. It was high in the front about 5 inches above my knee and long in the back. The material was chiffon and it hugged my curves perfectly. I applied my makeup on next. Winged black liner and M.A.C Ruby Woo Matte Lipstick. I decided not to do much with my hair and let my curls flow down my back. 

Satisfied with how I looked, I turned and noticed it was already 7 o'clock. Lance wasn't home yet, go figure (rolled eyes). It's weird how I went from thinking I was somewhat still in love with him Monday morning and here I am now, Saturday night doubting our marriage. I shook my head and patently waited.

 At 7:29 there was a knock on my door, Talk about punctual. I opened it and heard a deep rumble coming from Mr. Taylor. He openly scanned my body as if he was memorizing each and every one of my curves. He finally looked at me and once again I was met with those dark mossy green eyes. But this time they were filled with what looked like hunger or need. 

"Good evening Mrs. Brooks, you look exquisite". Mr. Taylor said eyeing my body once again. I couldn't hold back the giggle that escaped my lips.

"Thank you Mr. Taylor, you look quite handsome yourself". And he did, he had on a slim cut black suit with shiny shoes and his hair had a natural messy look to it. 

"Shall we go"? He extended his hand.

"We shall" I said taking his hand and shutting the door behind me.

He led me to a sexy ass Black Audi R8. My eyes almost bugged out of my head!! I stepped inside quickly putting my seat belt on and waiting for Mr. Taylor to round the car and come inside. On our way to dinner there was a comfortable silence. I noticed him giving me side glances every once and a while, I smiled not minding at all the attention.
