Married Mate

Chapter 24

Gabriel POV

Stalker.. that is what I felt like I was being, a stalker. But I couldn't just let her go; she was supposed to be MY mate, not the mate of a royal that already had a mate. He already had his shot at a happy life yet this..this imbecile shows up at MY sisters baby shower and steals away from me the love of my life. He was supposed to be one of my closest friends, Damon and I grew up together. When I lost my parents, his parents gave my sister and I the love that we yearned for. And now, THIS is how he treats me. 

"Urghh" I punched my steering wheel multiple times trying to release all this hate and anger I was feeling inside. I looked up at Jasmine's house, I need to go in there and tell her exactly how I feel. Maybe she can forgive me, maybe she can come to see that I was just overcome by all the love that I was feeling for her at the moment. Humans aren't used to the attraction of the wolf. 

I stepped out of my car and paced back and forth in front of her mailbox. Wait, was this car here the whole time? It seems that I was so focused on Jasmine and her house that I didn't notice Damon's car parked right next to her mailbox. Anger, hurt, sadness consumed me all at once, he is here taking advantage of the fact that Jasmine just went through a divorce. I started marching up the drive wave but abruptly stopped, I sniffed the air and that's when the scent hit me. It was the scent of a marked and mated female. The pain that I felt in my chest was more than I could handle. 

I collapsed and let out the most agonizing howl. Lucas needed to clear his mind as well. His mate had just officially become someone elses, for all of eternity. I pulled myself together and got up. I slowly made my way to my car and got in. As I was pulling away I noticed a car that was parked a few houses down, whoever was in the car didn't understand how to be discreet. I could tell that they were watching me or where are they watching Jasmine's house? I got out of the car and started walking towards the car but they quickly sped off. I would've gone after them but Lucas was being extremely persistent so shrugging I turned back, jumped into my car and left.

 

Hello everyone, I am completely ashamed by the lack of communication between us. I know that a lot have you have been patiently waiting and even have privately reached out to me to make sure I am okay. TBH I'm not. Life keeps throwing obstacles in my way and I feel like I'm slowly sinking/drowning. I am going to have to regroup my thoughts on this story and then actually publish a yummy chapter involving a certain mating scene. It is going to be graphic so please if you feel some type of way, skip the chapter. I'm going to try and really focus on this story. Again I am so sorry for neglecting you all ESPECIALLY those that have been loyally hyping me since the beginning. If anyone has any questions please feel free to DM me.
