Kendra hummed to the Christmas radio as she mashed the potatoes. She was in the 20s vibe after all of the good dreams of days at the fair or seeing the circus with Aldus and Joe.

She checked the multiple ovens. The turkey was coming along nicely, and below, the mince pies were looking good. Thanks to Gideon, she didn't have to worry about burning or undercooking, but she still loved to look at what she was making.

"You were never this homely in 1958." She heard Ray say over her shoulder.

"What can I say, I'm in the mood!" She replied lightly. And I've also been having happy dreams about the 1920s where I meet my ex-husband and dead child, she thought to herself.

"Well, it is Christmas." He agreed. Ray walked up to the table to see what she was cooking. It was cluttered with cut vegetables, a tumble of chipolatas, and a bowl full of a murky green liquid.

"Is that poison?" He asked, pointing to the green goo.

"That's jelly, Ray." Kendra laughed. "I was letting it cool before I put it in the fridge. The Waverider has no good jelly molds, so I'm using a bowl instead."

"Hmm." Ray nodded as he stole a chipolata. "This looks amazing. Thank you, Kendra."

He leaned forward and their lips brushed.

"You taste like Christmas." Ray murmured.

"Good morning, darling." Joe greeted sleepily as he broke off the kiss. "You taste like Christmas."

"I was up all night cooking. Did you get Aldus's gift yesterday?" Edith smiled in his embrace.

Joe nodded. "And I got you something too. Don't worry, it's not a weapon."

He reached to the bedside table, where he got a little paper bag and passed it to her. She peeled back at the tape slowly, and peeked inside.

"You shouldn't have." Edith said, shocked yet happy. "How on earth did you get this?"

She lifted up the golden bangle that had been there when she died in her first life.

"It was at a pawn shop." Joe shrugged and hugged Edith closer. "Got it at a bargain price. Shopkeepers had no idea what sort of relic they had."

"Thank you." Edith said, and moved closer into his arms.

"Thanks." Kendra flushed, and pulled back quickly.

Ray looked concerned, but didn't respond.
