"Rip, it's Christmas. We have to have at least a roast chicken!" Kendra said. She had continuing sweet dreams of Aldus and Joe for a couple of days now, and she was in the mood for an old fashioned Christmas.

"You do know that technically there is no such thing as Christmas or any sort of special day on a time machine, Miss Saunders?" Rip said, shaking his head.

"Then explain these decorations you're allowing." Ray barged in, holding a box full of Christmas trinkets. "And why you allowed Leonard and Sara to go raid—" Snart stepped on his toe "—I mean shop for Christmas decorations and ugly Christmas sweaters."

Ray put the box down to show off his red sweater, which had the words 'I've been a good boy' stitched onto it in a sickly green.

"I didn't allow any of this, you all did this by yourselves." Rip sighed, exasperated.

"Got one for you too, Rip." Sara threw him a fluffy bundle of wool. He lifted it up to read 'Christmas is over' with a picture of Santa smoking.

"It reminded us of you." Snart remarked.

"Fine." Rip rolled his eyes. "Miss Saunders, take Doctor Palmer with you while you go buy us some Christmas food."

"We'll decorate for you, Ray." Sara tossed the box to Mick, who smiled at the orange fairy lights.

"Whatever we do, we're not getting a tree." Rip muttered.

"I think it's too late for that, unfortunately." Professor Stein walked in. Jax followed right behind him, hauling in a tree. Leonard quickly helped Jax put it in the middle of the room.

"How on earth did you chop a tree?" Rip asked faintly.

"Oh, it's not real, it's plastic." Professor Stein said. "Good for the environment, and no pines on the ground falling into the crevices of your ship."

"And it lights up when it's plugged in so we don't need any decorations." Jax chimed in.

"Thank god for that." Rip muttered under his breath as he left the command room.

"Don't forget to wear the sweater!" Sara shouted to his back.

They heard angry grunts in return.

"I'll take that as a yes." She shrugged.

I know the theme is completely off because it's the summer but think of it as a mid Christmas celebration!
