Ding ding
I groan and sit up unplugging my phone.
Ethan🙈: What time do you want me to pick you up at
Me: Anytime is good
Ethan🙈: soo I'll pick you up in an hour?
Me: sounds good haha
My eyes droop while I struggle to stay awake.
"Just five more minutes," I mumble and set a timer on my phone for five minutes. I smile slightly and drift off to sleep in milliseconds.
Ethan's POV:
I've been sitting outside of Jades house for almost 20 minutes now, and I've texted her more than once. I don't know what she's doing, but she's not responding.
After a couple more minutes I just walk up to the door and knock.
"Hold on a second be right there!" A voice from inside shouts.
An older lady swings open the door, which I'm guessing is her mom considering she's in Jades house, duh, and her eyes are identical to Jades.
"May I help you?" She asks.
"I'm looking for Jade, is she around?" I ask looking over her shoulder and taking a peak inside their house.
"Yes she is, but who are you?"
"Um I'm Ethan I met Jade at the hospital the other day, and we were going to hang out, but she's not responding." I say scratching the back of my head.
"Ohhh so you were the boy at the hospital, well come in come in. Sorry about Jade she's up in her room. I'm not sure what she's doing, but could you go up there and get her down here she has to eat still and take her pills."
My eyes furrow. Pills what are they for? So I ask, "pills?"
Her eyes widen like something slapped her in the face. "Oh there just for nutrition stuff," She says quickly then waves away the idea. "Oh and her room is upstairs second room on the left."
I nod and head upstairs. It almost seems like she's lying with the way she acted, but I just shrug it off.
I knock on the door, but there's no response. I twist the handle and slowly creak open the door. I look inside and scan her room. I find a sleeping Jade all snuggled up in her covers. She honestly looks so adorable when she's sleeping.
I stand there for a second admiring her, even though we've only talked for a while, but I know, i'm falling for her.
I smile and walk over to her bed, "hey wake up sleeping beauty," she truly is a beauty. I tuck her hair behind her ear, and she starts to stir awake.
Jades POV:
"Hey wake up sleeping beauty." A deep husky voice whispers in my ear. My eyes refuse to open and I shrug it off thinking it was a dream. I stretch out so my whole body is covering the bed, resulting in a giggle coming from beside my bed. Apparently it's not a dream.
"Who the hell is in my-ETHAN?" I scream out in surprise not expecting that at all. "Oh my gosh," I grab my phone and check the time, I slept way over 5 minutes. I curse under my breath and apologize to him. "I'm so sorry I was gonna sleep for 5 more minutes but I didn't hear my alarm and-"
"It's okay it's okay, you must be tired. Trust be I've slept past my alarm way to many times." I laugh then he continues, "so do you want to just stay in and watch a movie instead of going somewhere?" He asks sitting on the side of the bed. I nod and he crawls over me and slides under the covers like he's right at home.
I turn on Netflix and hand the remote to him, he turns on mean girls and I give him a surprised look.
"Seriously," I chuckle.
"Why not," he replies and I snuggle up to him.
We watch movie after movie and as time passes we get more comfortable with each other. As we start another movie Ethan says, "oh I forgot to tell you that your mom wanted you to eat and take your nutrient pill things."
I give him a confused look, "nutrient pills? Oh oh oh yeah I'll just take them later."
My mom must've suspected I haven't told him yet. I don't really see the point in telling him. Nothing good will come out of it, plus it's nice having someone treat me normally again.
I scoot closer to him, and place my head in the crook of his neck. He puts his finger under my chin and tilts my face up to his.
"You have to prettiest eyes," he murmurs huskily.
"Thanks," I blush and look away slightly. But he gently tilts my head back to face him.
He starts to lean in, so I follow. Our lips connect and it feels so right. It slowly turns into a heated make out session, and neither of us pull away until Ethan's smiles into the kiss and pulls away then says, "God you are prefect."
