Ethan had to stay in the hospital for a week more than Jade but she was there with him the entire time.
After he got out, him and Jade spent all of their time together. It was really hard for Ethan knowing that he couldn't have Jade in his arms forever.
But they made the best out of the time they have. They went to Disney, and multiple other vacations.
Also Ethan and Gray held off tour for a year or so considering the situation.
Ethan and Jade currently went on a trip to the Bahamas, and they just got back. Leading up to this moment...
(A/N: Now Ethan and Jade are getting back from their trip and this part is going to take place as they get back)
Ethan's POV

I walk into the house with Jade helping her with her bags. We set her bags down in her room and she runs over to her bed and jumps onto it.
"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" I laugh, giving her a big kiss.
"Did I ever tell you how much I love this bear?" She asks laughing grabbing chippy the bear, the giant teddy bear I got her when I asked her to be my girlfriend.
I start to sit down but she continues, "wait wait wait wait before you sit down can you go grab my last bag pleaseeeeee," she begs.
"Only if you tell me how much you love me," I chuckle.
"I love you sooooo much, I even love you more than Chippy the bear," she raises her eyebrows.
"Wow you must love me a lot," I laugh giving her a kiss, "I guess I will since I love you sooooo much," I chuckle getting up to get her bag out of the car.
I hurry down and grab her bag then head back to her room. I stroll into her room and set her bag down.
"Do you wanna know where I got that bear?" I ask, but she doesn't respond.
"Jadeee," I laugh walking over to her and she has her arms wrapped around the bear.

"Butt head wake up I swear you can sleep all the time," I chuckle.
I give her a nudge but she doesn't budge.
"Jade?" I ask starting to get more worried
"JADE?" I scream a little louder
I flip her over gently and see that her eyes are closed, but her chest isn't moving.
"Jade?" I whimper out.
"No no no baby, you can't leave now, I lost you once, I can't loose you again." I cry out sobs leaving my mouth.
I lift her into my arms and my tears run down onto her limp body.
"JADE," I yell, "PLEASE," "YOU CANT GO! COME BACK, I LOVE YOU!"
My arms and legs start to shake uncontrollably and I drop to the ground.
Jades mom comes bursting through the door and as soon as she sees Jade in my arms and tears running down my face, she knows.
She screams out and tears pour down her face, "my beautiful baby," she cries out and takes her out of my arms.
I sit there on the ground lost. Not sure of what to do anymore. I just lost the only thing I lived for.
I can't hold her. I can't hear her laugh. Hear her voice. Touch her warm hands. Feel her touch. She's gone.

It's finally the day, I've been dreading today honestly. After all a funeral is for the living, not the dead.
I dress into my white tux because Jade wanted everyone to be in white instead of black at her funeral. She thought black was to depressing. She didn't want everyone to be sad, she wanted people to celebrate her life.
She was and still is the light of my life. I still can't believe she's not here.
I walk into Jades room for the first time since you know. It's exactly the way it was, her mom hasn't touched it.
I walk over and sit on her bed letting the tears flow. I rub my hands on her blanket and lift it up to my nose, it still smells like her.
I wipe away the tears and look around and see that damn bear. I grab Chippy and laugh a little. I don't know why she liked this bear so much, even though it is kinda cute.
I feel a piece of paper on the back of the bear and I turn it around. A little note is taped to its back.
I take it off and unfold it. I smile and a tear escapes my eye and drops onto the paper.
Hey Ethan I'm sorry I'm not here to cuddle you or this bear. I knew I was getting worse so I wrote this note for you. I figured you'd get it because I knew you would grab Chippy at some point because he's so cute duh. But I just want you to be happy. You are the love of my life, and I couldn't be more greatful. But you have to move on, I'm not saying you have to forget me, because how could you I'm amazing duhh. But I want you to find someone and be happy, because Ethan that's all I want. My dying wish is for you to be happy. And hey don't be sad because know that I will always love you and I'm watching over you. Ethan I love you so much, I'll miss you calling me baby girl. And hey say hi to my mom for me and tell her that she'll be okay and I love her. Be strong, I love you Ethan Grant Dolan xo
"I love you too," I cry out and hold the paper to my chest.

I'm the only one standing at her casket. Everybody left a while ago after the funeral, but I couldn't make myself move.
It was hard for me to give a speech, I couldn't stop crying the entire time but I know Jade would've wanted me to speak so that's what I did.
I stare at her casket and cover my mouth, the love of my life is in there all alone, I can't leave her.
I lift open the casket and see her. She's more pale but still gorgeous. She's in her white dress that she got that day at the mall
Oh my god. I mentally slap myself, I think back and I remember I asked her when I could see her in that dress.
"When will I get to see you in that dress that you just got?" I smirk.
"Not for a while hopefully," she says sarcastically.
I laugh slightly and lean down and give her cold forehead a kiss. A tear trails down my face and onto her body and others follow.
"Jade I'm going to miss you so much," I cry out. "I love you." I reach down and grab Chippy the bear that I brought from her house.
I lay Chippy down next to her, while letting out sobs.
"Like I said before, he can cuddle with you when I can't."
I know she would like that, now she atleast has one of us.
"You take care of her okay," I whisper towards chippy.
"Goodbye Jade, I love you baby girl," I say and give her one last kiss and shut the casket with my shaky hands.
