"You didn't," I gasp as I see Ethan walk in my bedroom with a giant teddy bear and bags of takis. Which are seriously my favorite chips of all time.
"I know how much you wanted one, and your always wanting these chips, so I was feeling extra nice and got these gifts for my gorgeous girlfriend." He says siting on my bed.
Girlfriend? We haven't actually made it official yet. So I ask, "girlfriend?"
"Well actually," he smiles getting down on one knee. "Jade you are the most beautiful, funniest, sweetest girl that has ever existed. In the time that I've known you you've made me more happy then I could've ever imagined. And I got you this teddy bear so when I'm not here with you, you wouldn't be lonely and could cuddle with the bear when I can't. Because Jade, my only wish for you is to be happy. And it would make me more than happy if you were truly mine. Because I want you and only you. So Jade, will you be my girlfriend?"
At this point I'm in tears. Mostly out of happiness but a little doubt knowing in the back of my head that I can't be with him forever.
"I love you so much Ethan, of course," I say jumping up onto him.
I bury my head into his neck and whisper, "I thought you'd never ask."
I wipe the tears away and kiss him passionately. This feels so right, being in his arms. I wish we could stay like this forever. But that's not how it works.
Guilt comes over me as we both lay down on the bed and Ethan twirls my hair and gives me random little pecks.
He's my boyfriend and he doesn't even know that soon enough I won't be here to cuddle with him or that super adorable bear. That's what's wrong about this whole thing. I need to tell him before things get out of hand. But I don't know when or how.
He's truly the love of my life, he deserves the truth. But not now, today's to great of a day.
"So what are you gonna name the bear?" He asks.
"Hmm I don't know yet, the name will come to me though don't worry," I reply and crawl on top of him.
I lean down to kiss him but his phone rings interrupting us. He smiles innocently and I groan flopping down onto the bed beside him. "You've got to be kidding me," I grumble half laughing.
"Hold on its Grayson," Ethan says and answers the call.
"Wait wait wait slow down. huh? what? Who the crap is chippy? Seriously bro I'm with Jade right now I can't. Ugh fine you owe me," he sighs and gets up.
"I gotta go Gray freakin got a piece of wood stuck in his arm and he needs a ride to the hospital." He says giving me a gentle kiss.
"Wait who's chippy?" I ask laughing at Grayson's stupidity.
"The piece of wood," he laughs walking over to the teddy bear. Ethan's laugh is so contagious it makes me laugh ten times harder.
"Here take the bear while I'm gone, cause I know you'll miss me so so so much," he tosses the bear down next to me.
"Hurry backkk, cause I will miss you soooo much I won't be able to handle it," I giggle hugging the bear.
He almost closes the door but I yell his name. "What?" He answers back.
"I think I know the name of the bear, it really looks like a chippy," I say looking into the Bears glass eyes.
"Chippy the bear it is then," he shakes his head laughing and closes the door.
I hear Ethan pull out of the driveway, so I turn on Netflix and cuddle with Chippy.
After a while I get a text from Ethan,
Babe😘: Gray wanted me to tell you that he was flattered that you named your bear after Chippy the piece of wood😂❤️
Me: awe hhaha tell Gray I hope Chippy comes out of his arm ok😂 I love you

Every time Ethan tells me he loves me I literally get the best feeling in the world. And I never want that feeling to stop.
