Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. - Joshua J. Marine

Daisy's jealousy of Ezra and his new girlfriend, became noticeable to all the Cliff Hangers.  Shelby tried to get her to talk, but Daisy said nothing was wrong. Eventually they gave up trying to help her.  Ezra who had gone through watching Daisy dump his friendship for guys she liked, knew how it felt. So he did his best to maintain his friendship with her, but she just gave him the silent treatment.  Eventually Peter decided they needed to discuss feelings in a circle meeting.  He reminded everyone that positive relationships were encouraged by the school, but he went over their policy on couples.  It made Ezra angry, that he had finally found someone that liked him back and Daisy was destroying that for him.

They ended up having an argument while cleaning the dining hall floors.  "I don't know what you see in her," Daisy snorted.

Chris said, "Brandy is a cool chick, what's not to like. And she's a geek just like Ezra."

"Um... thanks I think," Ezra replied.  "Daisy I've tried to be a friend to you, even though I spend more time with Brandy.  I don't get why you're so mad at her."

Juliette grinned, "Daisy's jealous... wow who knew death girl had any emotions under that mask."

"Ouch, a bit harsh don't you think?"  Auggie asked.

"She may not wear make-up, but she still hides behind her poker face," Juliette replied.

Scott nodded, "Twig has a point."

"Thanks Scott," Juliette said.

"I'm not jealous, it's just..." Daisy denied.

"... It's just that you won't admit that you have affection for Ezra, like we all do."  Chris finished for her.

Daisy shot Chris a glare.  "Stay out of this, it's none of your business."

"It is when you drag it out in the open like this.  Why don't you get over yourself?"  Chris asked, getting annoyed.

No one expected Daisy to shove Chris. Scott and Auggie stepped between the two girls.  "Give it a rest.  You don't want to have to clean toilets today too."

"Whatever," Daisy grumbled and moved further away to clean by the kitchen.

Peter ended the conversation, when he arrived.  "Today we are going to test your climbing skills."

"Please tell me it's not the climbing wall," Chris groaned.

"Or the rope course," Shelby added.

"No to both.  Today it's the real thing.  We're going up a mountain and earn our Cliff Hanger name."

Auggie and Scott did high-fives, while Ezra and the girls all grumbled.  Peter told them to meet him after they finished the dining hall.  It wasn't long before the group was in the equipment shed packing their gear.

"This should be a breeze for you Chris, you conquered your fear of heights at the climbing wall," Auggie teased.

Chris snorted, "at least the wall doesn't have rocks that can crumble away or snakes living in cracks."

"Um what's that about snakes?"  Juliette asked with a shiver.

"Don't pay attention to Chris, just follow me up Jules."  Auggie gave her a hug of reassurance.

Shelby wasn't so easy to encourage, "she's right about the rock slides and stuff."

"That's what your rock anchors protect you from.  I'll go up first and show you guys it's okay," Scott stated confidently.
