The greatest question
anyone can ever ask
is 'why'.
It's so simple, yet so complex.
Sometimes,
it doesn't even need the help of other words.
It, on it's own, is something.
With each new 'why'
arises something entirely different than the last.
'Why' can create and destroy
what no other word or question can.
Asking why can solve
all the problems,
you didn't know had answers.
Or help all the problems,
you didn't know were there
rise to the surface.
'Why' is something everyone needs,
but everyone dreads.
Without it the world would go no where,
but with it the world constantly changes.
No one wants the present situation,
but they don't want change either.
But as long as we have 'why'
nothing stays the same.
'Why' can help to create the deepest of love
simply by making you question,
why you haven't fought for it yet.
But, 'why', can also destroy it,
when you start to wonder
if it's real.
Funny, how one word
can do that...
