Cold Blooded Love

Chapter 3

"Ren! Kylo Ren!" Rey's voice echoed off in the distance as she called for the boy.

"Rey I'm here."

She turned around sharply to meet eyes with Kylo who was standing there smugly.

"I need to tell you something important."

"How important?"

"Very important."

"Like very very important?"

"Kylo!"

"Sorry..." he toke her hand and within moments they were back at his room.

"What was it that you were going to tell me? That was so very important?'

"There's a way you could love again."

"What?" Kylo hissed, he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"The truth is yesterday when I said I was going to do research I visited this shop revolving around spirits and ghosts. The lady told me there was a chance that I could see you again, living..."

"Really how?"

"She told me ghosts are usually left behind because they cannot go on, they are stuck her because of unfinished business. But if a person can see them and help them, they could pass on."

"And?"

"And then you could be recreated but your name won't be Kylo. You will remain the same other than that though."

Ren was silent before finally talking.

"I-I can return back to life?"

"Yes."

"One more question though..."

"What?"

"Will I be able to see you again?"

"So the next thing we are doing Ren is to listen to Snoke's meeting, and not just any meeting. This was an emergency meeting called after the arrest of me and the murder of you and your family."

Kylo winced at the mention of his death.

"So how are we getting in?"

"I'm going to pretend to be Cherry again."

"Again? Why?"

"She goes everywhere with him and is pretty naive herself. So she's easy to pretend to be."

"Oh that's actually a good idea."

"Thanks!' Rey smiled at him and together they set off.

"Take this. Well if you can..."

Rey placed a small device in his hand and surprisingly it remained and didn't fall threw his hand.

"What's this?"

"A recording device, I have one too. Take it and record the meeting. I will be recording too but two is better than one."

"Oh okay."

"No one else can see you so just stand there and get evidence."

"Good idea."

"Gentleman and lady, welcome to the emergency meeting concerning the death of the Solo family."

The men and Rey bowed their heads in respect.

"The girl who murdered them used to work for me. Now according to my sources she has turned against me and has proceeded to find evidence against me, if she succeeds she will be set free. But that's likely not going to happen, security is piping up and she's too headstrong to logically think of this. So we have nothing to worry about."

Nothing to worry about my ass.

"But now let's celebrate the deaths of this family! We have finally gotten rid of the three people that would've ruined us! Especially his son, that traitor! They said they would reveal my secrets but it seems as if they were too late or too stupid."

Snoke laughed and so everyone else joined in. Rey shivered it was creepy. But now she knew two things:

1) she owed kylo a lot
2) she was in danger

"You got anything interesting that we should dig deeper into?" Rey whispered as the pair or mostly Rey, hid behind some bushes.

"Yeah, my parents involvement. I believe there's more to it than concern for me. He mentioned they wanted to spill his secrets as well. There's something that's missing here."

"Yeah...he kept mentioning them as well as you. Maybe they had some sort of double life?"

"Rey you're a genius!"

"Why are we looking through your parent's old room?"

"Clues," Ren stated as he rummaged through some boxes under their bed.

"Clue? Where would we find clues in this room? It seems organized, if they had anything they probably got rid of it."

"There's probably a lot of clues, you don't know my parents like I do Rey -" he pulled out a old box from behind the dresser, "my dad liked to store important stuff in here, usually the papers my mom told him to throw out."

Kylo handed the box to Rey, "you do the honors."

She opened it to find several transcripts, though only one caught her eye: it was a conversation between Leia, Han, and Snoke.

"Ren look at this!" Rey handed the sheet over to Kylo, his face went blank.

"Oh no..."

"What's wrong?"

"Look."

He pointed to a few messy sentences written on the side:

Don't tell Kylo - we know more than it seems, Snoke's onto us and our lives are going to end by the likes of it. Hide him Han! I can't let him die! -Leia
