Chapter 5

"Ren? I think I should go..."

"What? Why?"

"Cause everything! Being with you just messes it up!" Rey put her hands to her face, "I think it's best that we get this evidence as soon as possible, then you would leave."

"..."

"Bye Ren."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh hello it's you again. Another question?"

"Yeah, um is it possible to touch a ghost?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like feel them as if they were human still."

"Usually it's not possible...I'm sorry but I don't know."

"Thanks anyway."

"Hey Finn, hey Poe," Rey mumbled as she walked past them and into her bed. She didn't feel like facing the world so Rey decided to go to sleep.

"Hey Rey."
"Who are you?"
"Someone with answers."
"You mean answers about Snoke?"
"No other ones."
"Like what?"
"Like how you could touch Ren?"
"Oh."
"The thing is Rey, Ren was never meant to die. On that day you killed his family you were supposed to end up missing him and killing his parents. Rey, you were supposed to miss then help him cause of guilt but unfortunately that wasn't the case. You did miss and hit him where he could've survived but you didn't help him in time.So because of that he's dead, and he was never supposed to die at the hands of you. Since his life was cut short unexpectedly he became a ghost to haunt you. Only you could see him because you're his killer. You're the one who watched him take his last breaths. So because of that he could touch you and you could touch him. It's because you're connected."

Rey woke up panting and sweaty. She couldn't believe what she just heard. But what made it worse was that Ren wasn't even supposed to be a ghost haunting her. If it wasn't for her, he would've been alive. He would've been a living breathing human being. The guilt continued to stir in her stomach mercilessly, it was killing her from the inside. She could've let Ren live but she didn't, all because of Snoke. No wait, all because of her.

The next morning she decided to visit Snoke again, on her own. Rey knew Kylo was haunting her but hopefully he wouldn't show up. She spoke too soon.

"Hey Rey."
"Kylo what are you doing here?" She hissed.
"I've come to help, remember since I was the one who got killed?"
"Fine, just don't ruin this."
"How could I? I'm a ghost."
"Shut up and let's go inside."

Rey walked into the bathroom with a hood over her head. Luckily no one else was in there, so she locked the door so no one will end up coming.

"Are you disguising as Cherry again?"
"Yes..."
"Why?"
"She's closest to Snoke!"
"What about the guys he was talking to?"
"Do I look like a guy?"
"No -"
"Well there's your answer."

She walked out of the stall wearing a wig and a dress.

"Let's go, you know the deal, I talk to Snoke you record it as well as me."
"Got it."

Rey walked in to see Snoke looking stressed.

"Sir?"
"Cherry get me coffee, I'm stressed."
"Okay I'll be right back, tell me about it when I return."
"Thank you."

Rey ran off to make his coffee which she didn't exactly know how to, luckily it was written down.

"Here sir."
"Thank you."
"So sir tell me what's bothering you."
"The whole murder case! It's bigger than I thought, I believed I would get away with it if I led that girl Rey to do it and go behind bars. But instead she's trying to find evidence against me! I'm going to be ruined if she succeeds!
"If this whole murder case is so big, why'd you do it?"
"I did it because Ren and his stupid parents! Ren originally was working for me, he went out, did all my dirty work with Hux, came back, and for paid. One day he came to me saying he was quitting because he met someone, I told him to keep his mouth shut about what he's seen and apparently he couldn't do that either. Leia Organa starting looking into what I made her son and Hux do and she then got enough evidence against me with the help of Han Solo. But I couldn't let that happen so I moved the trial against me back and got Rey to kill them so no one would find out.
"Oh I'm sorry sir, hopefully we will deal with that Rey soon."
"Hopefully."

"Kylo? Kylo!" Rey hissed trying not to be loud.
"I'm here."
"Kylo, we have a lot of evidence now," she held up the voice recorder, "but in order to understand this case more I need to know two things. First of all who is Hux? And second, who is this girl?"
"Hux was my co worker in doing Snoke's dirty work. I don't know where he is now, but I can help you find him and talk to him."
"And the girl?"
He looked at her, "she's no one important."
