I bought it to you

Today I'm just not in the mood for trying. I drag myself out of bed and literally crawl like a slug into the bathroom. I shower and go get dressed. Putting on my black leggings, a white oversized top, my denim jackets and my black vans. I didn't even do my makeup, put my hair in a quick messy bun grabbed my books and bag and headed for Uni. I had an important lecture. Checking my phone I see the time, I had 3 minutes before it started. I began to run. As I arrived I was out of breath. I walked in only to people from my class walking out of the campus. I recognize a boy who sits in front of me. "What's going on?" I ask him "The professor isn't here today it has been rescheduled for tomorrow" he tell me. "Wait so no Uni today" I say. He just nods and carries on. I sort of stare around not knowing what to do. Having nothing planned I fell pretty weird. Since I missed breakfast I decide to go the Uni cafe and order a croissant and some coffee. I take my phone out and decide to send a text to the person who has been on my mind.

Text: Hey finny you free today wanna meet me and get some Starbucks? Xxxxxx*

I press send and carry on eating my croissant. I check my instagram scrolling though the pictures. Then twitter. Then I went on Face book. I had so many messages but they were all from people that I can never be asked to a have a conversation with. My phone beeps

I still have nothing planned when I get an amazing idea. I leave my half eaten and forgotten coffee on the table and leave the campus. I take the underground to the area were Finn and Jacks office space is. I get of at the station and go up the stairs. In front of me was what I was looking for a Starbucks. Crossing the road, walking inside and waiting in the queue. I knew exactly what he wanted. It came my turn "Next" the worker shouted."What would you like" "Can I have a large caramel frappicino with extra cream and sauce please order "Sure thing can I have a name please" the worker said."Can I write it?" I asked. The worker hesitated at first but the. Handed me over the cup and pen. 'To F.I.N.N you couldn't come to it so I bought it to you - Kendall <3' I wrote and handed it back. The worker gave me a stare as he read what was on the cup. He filled it up and I gave him the money. He smiled at me and said "Its cute he's lucky" it made me happy to hear that. "Thank you" I told him and walked out. When I finally reached the offices lobby I looked around. I walked over to who looked to be the mail man. "Hi could you please take this up to Finn Harries in office Room 17a" I asked him holding the Starbucks in front of me. "Haha what?" he said "Oh you think-ha-ha no, no I don't work here" he carried on. Shit that's embarrassing "Oh sorry" I apologize and walk away. "No, no haha its fine "he stops me. "I'll take it "he adds."Really" I turn around "Yeah sure Finn Harries did you say" he asks. "Yes room 17a" I tell him. "Thankyouuu so much "I add handing him over the Starbucks, "It's fine" he says and gets in the lift. I leave the building and he'd to the train station. Five minutes later my phone rings, I look at the caller ID it was Finn. "Hello" I answer "Oh my god you are actually so perfect" he said. I couldn't help but smile "So did you get it" I ask "Yes I got it! Where are you I'm coming "he replies."I thought you had to edit the videos" I say "Yes I do ,but I don't care your to cute to and I have to see you " he tells me. "Aww thanks Finny haha and I'm by this old bookshop " "Okay I know the one, I'll be there in 5 minutes" he tells me and hangs up. Shortly after I see Finn walking from the distance. "You're so amazing" he says to me hugging me. "So are you" I reply, Finn looks up and looks distracted. "Finn" I tug at his jacket to get his attention. "Look" he replies, I turn around to look at the bookshop "It's a bookshop "I tell him. "Not just any bookshop" he replies grabbing my hand and dragging me inside, I'm so confused! We go inside and to the back towards the desk where and old man was sat reading a newspaper. He pulls down the newspaper and takes his glasses off "Finnegan?" he asks. I look at Finn how did this man now him. "Hi Henry "Finn walks around the desk and hugs him. "Oh Finn how have you been it's been a long time" "I'm good life's been good- what about you Henry how have you been" Finn says. "I have been good but I don't get the joy of you coming in everyday" "It's definitely been a long time" Finn says "Henry this is Kendall, Kendall this Henry" he introduces us. "Hi nice to meet you" "Pleasure is mine sweetheart" he adds shaking my hand. Finn looks around "Is it still here" he asks. "Of course Finnegan I would never get rid of it" the old man replies pointing to the shelves in the corner. "Follow me" Finn tells me and we walk over to the shelf. "What are we doing here" I ask ""wait you'll see" he replies pushing one of the shelves out of the way. Revealing a secret room hidden by the bookcases with an old piano inside. Finns smile grows as he goes and sits on the piano. He touches the keys and begins to beautifully play the piano. I go and sit next to him "I never knew you played" I asked. "I came in here once getting a book to read. Then I was fascinated by this old piano. For 7 years I would come everyday and Henry would teach me the piano. He was my best friend" Finn told me "Awhhh that's so sweet" I snuggle closer to him. "Give me your hand" Finn asks. I put my hands on top of him confused; he places my fingers on specific keys. "Push down, this one then this, then these in that order" he explains. Finn began to play and I did as I was told we sounded amazing. "WONDERFUL" Henry shouted "I LEARNT FROM THE BEST" Finn shouts back. Finn looked down into my eyes and smiled as we played. It was my definition of perfect day.
