I woke up to Jake's alarm blaring throughout the room. It was Saturday, which probably meant she had something she had to do.

Jake turned the alarm off and turned to me.

"It goes off every single day." She smiled.

"So anything planned for this fine Spring day?"

"Well, actually... You missed seven weeks of the school term. So you were here for week eight, which was the last week of term three, so today we're going to Sydney to get your shit." She smiled.

"Wow, I really do need to listen more, I thought it was gonna be school for heaps longer." I smiled.

"Oh, on Monday we've gotta go to Alexis' graduation though, so we're staying in Sydney at your old house tonight and then coming back on Sunday. Only dad, you and I are going, the boys agreed they'd find new stuff and Winnie told me you'd pick stuff for her." She smiled, pushing the covers off of herself.

She got up and walked across the room to her wardrobe.

I saw her get out her basketball shirt and shorts.

"By the way, we're leaving after training, so you may wanna get ready for that." She said walking out of her room to go to the bathroom.

I got up and walked to my old room to get my basketball gear. I ended up taking my whole suitcase and school shit into Jake's room.

I grabbed out my basketball gear and got into it.

Jake soon came back in to the room and smiled.

"We're forced to be one of those annoying matching couples." She laughed.

"I know, it's weird." I chuckled.

I grabbed my black high tops and put them on, just as Jake grabbed her white high tops, which have turned red due to the dirt outside.

"Kids! Breakfast!" Kelly yelled from down stairs.

We ran downstairs to try and beat the breakfast rush, which we did, being the first two down there, other than Winnie.

We both grabbed a plate of bacon and eggs and a glass of orange juice before sitting down at the table.

"You two ready for training?" Kelly asked.

"Yeah, we good." Jake smiled while I stuffed my face with food putting my thumbs up.

"Mum! This breakfast is so unhealthy." Alexis whined. "Not all of us are Jake and West."

"Only they have bacon and eggs Alexis, the rest of you have fruit salad, fresh from the gardens." Kelly said rolling her eyes.

"Goodie!"

After breakfast Jake and I ran outside and got in Tom's ute and he drove us to basketball training.

"Okay kids, I'll be in town doing some shit, so just text me when this is finished." He said as we got out of the ute.

"See ya daddy!" Jake yelled running towards the team.

"Bye Tom!" I yelled running after her.

We got over to the team and stopped running.

"Thank you for coming Wynters and Harrison, I know you two are supposed to go on a trip today." Coach Edwards said.

"No problem." Jake and I shrugged.

"Okay, so we're gonna do some basic training drills and then we'll split into two teams and play a game of half court." He said.
