Three weeks of useless appointments and falling even further in lo-like with Jake later, barely anything was different.

Wyatt and I were talking again and that was amazing, even if his nose is now permanently a little bit crooked. Jake and I are still going strong, it's Winnie's birthday tomorrow and I've had a few minor meltdowns. Emphasis on minor.

"Hey West." Jack said sitting next to me on the footy field.

"Hey Jack." I replied.

"Where's Jake today?" He asked.

"She's sick, so Kelly's taking her into town to see the doctor." I said.

"What kind of sick?"

"I don't know... She's been a little nauseated lately, she actually threw up last night and again this morning. She's been complaining about headaches sometimes too. Oh and she's been really sleepy." I listed.

"I know this probably isn't what you wanna hear, but it sounds like she's preggo." He said.

"Hey, I wrap my willie before we get silly." I defended. "What is it like a three percent chance it failed? Plus she's on the pill I think."

"Be that as it may, the pill doesn't work for the Wynters girls... Just saying." He shrugged.

"Wait, so you think... Oh shit."

"Yeah... The bell just rang, so we should probably get to class. I've got Mrs. Duncan, she can be a little... Angry." He chuckled, getting up and walking away.

I got up off the ground and walked off of the field and to my class, still holding a blank expression on my face.

"West, are you okay? You look a wee bit pale." Mr. Callahan asked.

"I'm fine." I said.

Funny thing... I said that right before I blacked out.

When I woke up I was in a hospital bed, surrounded by the clinically clean smell that accompanies being in a hospital.

"Ahh, Mr. Harrison, you're awake, wonderful. It seems you've had some sort of reaction to the medication you were given, you may have even overdosed." The doctor said, taking a seat on the side of the bed. "The Wynters family sends their apologies that none of them could be here, their daughter Jake is in surgery."

"Who are the Wynters family? More importantly, what meds... No one snuck steroids in my water right? Cause if they did coach Baileys is gonna kick me off the team." I rushed.

"West, what day is it today?"

"March seventh."

"Do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah, two brothers, Wyatt and Wade."

"How about a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, her names Amber... What's with all the questions? Where are my parents?"

"West, it's October tenth, you have three siblings, Wyatt, Wade and Winifred, and your girlfriend is Jake Wynters." The doctor said much to my confusion. "Also, I know you may not remember this, but a few months ago your parents passed away."

"W-what happened to me?"

"You were in History at school and your teacher Mr. Callahan asked if you were okay, apparently you said you were fine and passed out soon after."

"My history teachers name is Miss. Ellis... Why can't I remember anything you're telling me?"

"It seems you've suffered memory loss, and judging my the fact you can't remember your three year old sister, I'd say it's quite extensive. You hit your head on two tables when you fell, so that would explain it. Hopefully you remember things soon."

"Yeah... Wait Wynters... As in Jack Wynters?"

"Jack is your girlfriends cousin... Apparently he's also quite a close friend of yours." The doctor said.

"Yeah! I remember Jack, can he come see me?" I asked.

"Yeah, he's in the waiting room, I'll just go get him."

The doctor left the room and minutes later a boy with jet black hair walked in.

"Hey Big-W." He smiled.

"Hey lil-J." I grinned in return.

"Jake's in surgery, turns out I was wrong." He sighed. "She deffo ain't preggo."

"First tell me who Jake is exactly and then explain what the hell you're talking 'bout." I said.

"Jake Holden Wynters is your girlfriend, you kissed one night, then that turned into a shag, which turned into a relationship, you're like crazy in love with that girl, you've been with her about three and a half weeks. Today she was off school and you told me why and I guessed preggo. Turns out she's not. Mate you're dating a dying girl... At least that's what they're saying."

"J-Jake is dying? No, stop joking around man. Jake's fine, she was just sick, no she's not dying." I worried.

"Yeah, I wad kidding, I got the doctor in on it, she's just preggo."
