The New Girl Pt. 3

Y/N's POV
After giving her a lift home on her first day Lauren and I began to grow quite close. I even introduced her to four of my friends; Camila, Dinah, Normani and Ally, who took good care of Lauren in school when I wasn't there.she seemed so much happier which made me happier but I still had to find out what this girl thought of me...

I was interrupted from my thoughts when my bedroom door was flung open. "What's up dawg? I got news for you." "Seriously Dinah?" "What?" She said as if I was expecting her to casually arrive at my house without telling me she was coming. "You could have at least knocked". "Well actually I couldn't because I have something to tell you and it involves you". I suddenly grew worried. "Is it bad?" She giggled "no no not at all". I sighed with relief. "Well, Camila invited myself, Normani, Ally and Lauren over last night as we couldn't be at yours like usual cause you ditched us for
Justin". I laughed "ok get to the point Dinah" "Don't hurry me Y/L/N. Anyway we noticed Lauren looked kinda upset so we asked her what was up and she told us that she has a crush on you but she's convinced you only see her as a friend. She even started crying when she told us". I stared at Dinah in shock. She liked me back??? I could feel my heart beating fast. "Y/N?" Dinah laughed, "Earth to Y/N". "Oh yeh sorry I'm just kinda speechless". "Well I'll leave you to your shock but don't take too long telling that girl you feel the same". I smiled, so happy at the news. "I won't I won't" I assured her before we said our goodbyes and she headed to work.

I quickly got changed into some fresh clothes and gelled my hair before making my way to Lauren's house. Her family had taken a trip to the city for the weekend but she was staying at home to study for a test. Typical Lauren, but at least I was guaranteed some time alone with her. I knocked on the door and a few seconds later she appeared. "Hey" she said in the cutest voice I've ever heard. "Hey we need to talk". The smile on her face left at my announcement and she lead me to her room. We sat down on her bed and I made myself comfortable as it wasn't my first time in here but Lauren sat awkwardly at the edge , nervously playing with her hands. "Lauren" she looked at me. Be friends with me anymore". I wrapped my arms around her. "I would never leave you Lauren". She sobbed into my shoulder as I held her, tracing circles on her back. "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said anything". "Lauren it's ok I promise" I said as I moved her hair out of her face. This was it, I was going to kiss her.

I leaned in slowly and whispered "I have a crush on you too" Before she had a chance reply I smashed my lips into hers, kissing her passionately. When our lips finally parted she looked into my eyes.

LAUREN'S POV
He just kissed me. Y/N just kissed me. That really happened. Oh my god he's so hot. "Thanks" he giggles. Shit. I said that out loud. I blushed and hid my head but he placed a finger under my chin and brought me up for another kiss. Fireworks. That's all I can say about the kiss. It was everything I wanted.

Y/N stayed with me for the rest of the night kissing me, cuddling me and calling me cute. He even helped me study for a while but we got distracted by a make out session. We haven't made anything official yet but it's safe to say it's looking as if Y/N is going to be my first boyfriend and I really couldn't ask for anyone better.
