Y/N's PoV:
After I gave Lauren a tour of the school I made arrangements to meet her so I could drive her home as it turned out she had recently moved not so far from my house.

After last class ended I headed to the door to get Lauren but when I got there she wasn't there. Then I heard shouting and as I turned to my left I saw a group of girls shoving Lauren and insulting her. I ran up to them and pushed them off her. "Leave her alone it's only her first day". "Well she's pathetic", Emily, aka the world's biggest bitch replied before walking away with her "friends". "They're so stupid" I laughed and turned to Lauren but then I realised that tears were rolling down her cheeks. "Hey" I put my arms around her, "it's ok I won't let them hurt you". She held onto me very tight not saying a word. After a few moments I let go of her and helped her into the car.

When we reached her house she seemed really upset. "Lauren?" "Yes" "you know they're just low-lives and you're so much better than them" "save it Y/N I know I'm not good enough". I frowned at her words and squeezed her hand. "Why would you think that?" "At my last school I had no friends and got bullied really badly and I had to take time off school. I moved school to get away from my old bullies but now it just looks like I've got new ones" she cried. "Well" I smiled, "you do have a friend though". She looked up at me. "B-but you're popular. I-I'm just me". "I like you Lauren, I wanna get to know you better and I don't care about reputation". I thought about whether or not I should tell her my secret since she was opening up to me about her past. I decided if we were to get close I was only right. "You know, I used to get bullied". "Really? Why?" "Because I'm transgender". She looked at me shocked. Oh god please don't let her be creeped out. "People th-thought you weren't good enough because of that?" "Well yeah but I medically transitioned and once I was ready I moved school so now I can just be myself". A cute smile spread across Lauren's face. "It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who got bullied". "You're never alone Lauren". She blushed at my words and all I could think about was kissing her. "Um I should probably get out now". As sad as I was to see her go I had pulled up at her house a few minutes ago and I did need to get home to study. "Well I'll see you tomorrow then Jauregui" I said, winking at her. "Yeah I'll see you tomorrow Y/N, thanks for the lift" "no problem". She opened her door and walked into her house as I drove off. Man, I really think I'm falling for this girl.
