First Kiss

As we were watching the film I hear whimpering beside me. I turned to see tears rolling down Lauren's cheeks, her eyes red and puffy. "Lauren, what's wrong?" I asked. "I can't do this anymore" she cried. "Do what Lauren?" "Be friends with you" I felt my heart break and my voice went shaky as I asked why. "Because I'm in love with you Y/N"

I lay there in stunned silence for quite some time. "Y/N pl-please s-say something" Lauren asked, as her tears fell faster and she struggled to speak during her sobs. "Lauren, it's ok" I said, wrapping my arms around her. "Hey, look at me" she looked into my eyes with her beautiful green eyes. I knew I had to let her know I felt the same. I leant in slowly and kissed her lips softly before pulling back. "I love you too, princess" I replied. Lauren went bright red before cuddling into me and resting her head on my shoulder.

The rest of the night we lay there cuddling and kissing and talking about becoming a couple.
