The sound of Regis's boots treading down the stone paved hallway to the dank dungeon was the only sound beside Vire's flapping. Even as they approached the cell their prisoner was held, it was silent. Regis stopped at the cage door that a knight guarded.
"She refuses to speak," The knight informed Regis
The prince only smirked. "She might open up to me. We are old friends after all."
She sat against the wall, scowling with her eyes closed, but his words made her eyelids snap open in disgust.
Regis smiled. "See? A reaction already." Then he knelt, making their eyes the same level. "I never would've expected such treachery from you, Impa. I honestly thought you truly were loyal to my family."
Impa glared at him. "I'm the traitor?"
"Yes. I never imagined you would take my sister from my side. But I suppose I should have known. You Sheikah are known for lying."
"Keeping secrets," she corrected.
Regis stood. "No difference," He yawned. "But sooner or later, you will tell me her location, willingly or not."
"That's where you're wrong! I would never let you hurt her!"
The prince looked back down at Impa with a skeptical look. "Hurt? I would never hurt my precious little sister. At least, not as long as she is the only one who knows where the Regal Flame resides. "
At his words, Impa jumped at him, but was pulled back by the cuff at her ankle, attached to a stake by a chain. "Your own sister... you disgust me!"
Regis waved his hand at her, as if it couldn't possibly matter, and walked away.

Meanwhile, on their way up Death Mountain, Mari told Link all about the Ember Shrine.
"The guardian spirit that Shrou was telling you about was actually a deity that looked over the tribe." She explained. "It took the shape of a golden ember eagle. It sounds kind of scary, I know, but it was a graceful image.. or so I'm told. Back when, the people built a shrine for it to show their gratitude. That's the Ember Shrine. These days, the only Sheikah left are Impa, Bian, Shrou and Darcy, but the rest of the villagers still praise the spirit for his doing. It's name was actually Eldin, but most people just call it the guardian spirit now. The legends of the spirits throughout Hyrule are nearly forgotten because there are some people who wish to harm such beings."
Link was intrigued. "So, to protect them, they hid the spirit's identities."
"Yep!" Mari confirmed. "And originally, the shrine was called, 'Eldin Shrine, but because of that reason, and that the shrine was built into the mountain, making it very hot, the villagers renamed it."
Link stopped walking. "Aww, why didn't you tell me? If I knew It was going to be so hot in there, I would've brought a canteen of water!" He complained, regaining his pace.
Mari laughed. "Don't worry! Death Mountain is sleeping now, so there's barely any magma anymore." She promised.
"I hope so. The last thing I want to happen is--WOAH!" Link was interrupted by a rolling boulder flying down the trail at him. He was able to roll out of the way at the last second.
Mari flew up and down excitedly. "Are you okay, Link?!"
Checking to make sure he was indeed okay, Link stood up, then dusted himself off. "That was random!" He commented.
