The rest of the tunnels weren't so hard to figure out. The glowing stream lead the proper way, and any alternate route simply led to monsters or pointless treasure, like bombs, seeds or rupees.
Eventually, they found themselves at a three way fork, but the water led to the middle tunnel.
"How many more forks are in this labyrinth?" Link sighed
Mari chuckled. "Well, it is a labyrinth."
The tunnel they took wasn't long, thankfully, but led to another dead end.
Again, Link sighed. "What is this?"
It wasn't the whole locked door with a Farore's Crest, nor was it a simple cave wall. It was smooth and flat. Link tried hitting it with his sword, but it wasn't hollow. The tunnel was still dark enough that Link couldn't get a good look at it, so he ran his hand along it, hoping to feel a switch or something. That's when he felt a crack. It was a fine crack, as if it was meant to be there. It was too thin for him to try and fit his fingers in, or anything he had for that matter. But it ran from the ceiling to the floor.
"I wonder what this is," he said, rubbing his chin. Then he shrugged. "Well we're left with no other option then to turn back."
He was right, so the two headed back to the fork, and decided on a path, the one right to the water stream.
They didn't get far when they met a small stone slab in the path. Link bent down to it, and could tell it had words carved into the front. "Mari, help me try and and read this!"
She fluttered down, and illuminated just enough space to read the text. "That's weird," she said, tilting her head.
"What is?" He asked, "Can you read it?"
"Yes!" she exclaimed, "That's what's strange. The text on the entrance was too ancient for me to. But this one is current."
"Huh, that is weird," Link agreed. "Well, what does it say?"
Mari took a moment while she gathered the words; her light wasn't quite bright enough for Link to read without straining.
"'From this point on, Warp Labyrinth' is what it says." She looked up at Link.
He shrugged. "I guess we'll find out what that means."
So they continued on. It seemed like a while that they walked, and the tunnel felt like it kept going upward. Eventually, they reached a dead end, but their walk wasn't fruitless. In the middle of the floor was the recognizable glowing shape of a warp tile, same as the one Link and Zelda used to escape Hyrule Castle.
Link stopped and stared at it for a moment, guessing there was no other option than to use it. "Well, here goes nothing," he said, before diving onto the tile. Then he was surrounded by the white light, but when it faded, he appeared to be in the same tunnel as before, except this one had one more warp tile.
Link raised his eyebrow at Mari. "I guess I choose one.." he assumed.
Mari shrugged. "Let's hope there's no wrong way to go."
He chose the tile to the left of him, and was warped to a room with two more tiles, and a chest.
"I can tell this is going to be interesting," he chuckled, as he walked to the chest. Inside, he discovered fifty rupees. "Nice find!"
Then he turned back to the tiles. He took a gamble, and tried the tile to his right, and found himself in a plain, square room. What was different, was it had a barred skylight in the ceiling, letting in dim light.
