I woke up and shut my alarm clock off. I got dressed in a black t-shirt with a cat on it and black jeans. I ate breakfast, I brushed my teeth and my balck hair. I grabbed my bag and went upstairs. I put on my black boots and went outside to my car. I got in and started it up. I drove to Clara's house and waited outside for her. Five minutes passed and I honked the horn. She came out of the front door in a knee high blue dress.
"Finally," I said. She got in on the passengers side.
"Ya ya ya, where is your dress?" She asked. Then I remembered, the dance. I started driving.
"I forgot about the dance," I said with a shrug. "What is it for anyways?"
"Valentines day," she said.
"Oh okay," I said. I drove to school and I parked in the parking lot. We got out and went into the school. We went to our lockers and put our bags in. Everyone is getting ready for the dance. "Over exaggeration much." I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my books and prepared for boring classes.
"I'll see you later, I need to get to music with Mr. Cronsbe," Clara said with a roll of her eyes.
"See you," I said. She walked of to her class and I did the same. I walked into the language class, and I did not expect for the guy from Tim Hortons to be sitting at the back of the class in the seat beside I usually sit in. I couldn't move it's like I'm frozen on the spot. I couldn't help but star at him, he caught me starring and smirked. A growl started in my throat.
"Mrs. Grey, please take your seat," the teacher Ms. Cilton said. I snapped out of the trance and looked around for a seat other than beside him. But I spotted none so I had no choice but to sit down on my regular seat beside him. I walked over and sat down.
"Hello again," he said in his deep voice.
"Are you following me!" I hissed, looking at him.
"Calm down, I'm not following you I just transferred here," he said.
"Oh sorry," I said, okay I don't really feel sorry but it's the polite thing to do.
"It's fine, no hard feelings?" He asked with a smile.
"No hard feelings," I said a little suspicious.
"I'm Luke by the way," he said.
"I'm Selene," I said.
"Ahem if we could get to the class," the teacher said impatiently glaring at us. I turned my head back around to face the front. Luke did the same.
"We can talk later," Luke whispered to me.
"Now we all know we have a new student with us. You can get to know him on your own time. I have a new assignment for you, in pars you are going to write a story in a month," Ms. Cilton said. I wonder who I'm going to be working with I thought with curiosity. She said everyone else's partners then it came to me "....Selene and Luke." My eyes widened in disbelief. Me and Luke? I don't even know him!
"This will also count as half your mark," she said. My eyes widened even more, if that is possible. "Don't ask if you can switch partners. You are free to use the rest of the class to talk to your partners about it." She looked back down at her desk, sorting through papers and such. I turned back to him. I sighed, this is going to be torture.
"So I guess we have to work together," I said with a sigh. "Have any ideas?"
"How about a guardian angel except he is a demon who looks over for a girl. But he breaks the most important rule of not interfering with the girl. His job is to turn her evil but slowly as he gets to know her he falls in love with her," he said. I have been writing this down on paper as he has been talking. "It was the first thing that came to mind." I thought and smiled.
"Since we are doing a supernatural theme. Let's say that the girl figured out she is a witch, this type off demons job is to turn witches evil. Like you said he falls in love with her but she rejected him," I said while writing it down. He nodded thoughtfully.
"I like it," he agreed. "Would you like to come to my house some time to actually write it out and all that?"
"Sure I guess," I said with a shrug. I got a bad feeling when I agreed to that. The rest of the class finished quickly and the bell range. 1 walked out of class, Luke following close behind. "See you later."
"Ya," he said.
