Eye Of The Cat

Chapter 18

We decided to watch R.I.P.D which stands for Rest In Peace Department. I pulled out the pull out mattress in the couch. Night is going to sleep on it, I wouldn't let him sleep on the couch and it wouldn't be a good idea for him to sleep in my bed with me.

He sat down against the back of the mattress. I got on and crawled over to him. I went to sit down beside him but he lightly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him so we are touching, my leg is over top of his. I yelped in propose but he wouldn't let me go. I guess I could of got out of his grasp but it is really comfy.

I grabbed the pizza box from beside him and opened it. The delicious smell came from it, making my mouth watter. I took a piece of it, and played the movie. I took a bite of it and the delicious burst of flavours filled my mouth. I moaned in pleasure. Pizza is the best.

"You may want to be a little quieter, your mom will hear you, she might think, you know," he warned.

"Ew! She wouldn't think that," I said. I took another bite. I moaned again, but quieter this time.

"If you keep doing that you will not be moaning because you like pizza," he whispered into my ear. I stopped chewing and swallowed. I blushed deeply. I finished the piece of pizza without a sound.

Twenty minutes passed, then my vision went black and I felt hands over my eyes.

"Hey!" I said and shook my head trying to shake his hand off. I heard fighting on the tv. I whimpered. "This is the good part." I moved his hand away so I could see the movie.

"This is a weird movie," he commented.

"Weird is good," I defended turning my head to look at him. "I'm weird, are you say-" he cut me off by kissing me, with his hand around my waist he pulled me closer to him so I'm pressed against him. I didn't kiss him back in surprise and shock. Him kissing me doesn't feel right. My wolf is not happy with him kissing me, she howled in propose, snarling and growling at our closeness. Then she took control over my actions and made me move away. I have no control whatsoever.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of kissed you," he apologized, I snarled at him and growled. My bared my teeth, my canine teeth are long and sharp. I looking at all of this from a outside my body. I think that I have astral projected and that's not me down their it's my wolf taking over of my body.

"How dare you!" I heard me speak but not in my voice. Then my body fell back onto the bed, then something came out of my body, a white wolf with blue fur throughout her body, the wolf is transparent like a ghost. Her blue eyes like fire. Fear appeared on his face. He scooted backwards slowly. The white wolf snarled at him again.

"You have to take control Selene. Talk to your wolf, let her understand that I'm not a threat to you or her," Night said to me, like he knows that

"Please stop, it's okay he won't hurt us, I know it was wrong for him to kiss me he won't do it again, please," I pleaded to the white wolf. She stopped growling and looked up at me. Her face softened and she lowered her head.

I am sorry, I was trying to help her voice echoed through my head.

Then something else came out of my body, a black panther with the fur having a blue tint to it and there is a four pointed star on its head. She is transparent just like the white wolf. She looked at me then to the white wolf.

Come Arianna, give Selene back control the black panther said to her. The white wolf looked at her.

But he kissed her! She spat.

I know but she doesn't know, we need to let her figure it out for herself the black panther said calmly.

Your right she said with a sigh. Then she looked back at me, I am sorry. The  Arianna dipped her head and faded. 

I know you are confused but it will make sense soon. Remember that we are always here for you, you have to remember to be brave enough to take control of your life the black panther said and slowly started to fade to like Arianna. 

Then I floated back into my own body. I sat up, I feel calm, at peace, Arianna isn't fighting for control anymore, not stirring.

"Are you alright?" Night asked me urgently.

"Ya I'm fine, actually I feel great," I said surprising myself. "I don't think that you should try to kiss me."

"Yes, I'm sorry for trying to kiss you it was a mistake," he apologized.

"It's alright. Why did Arianna say that  she was only trying to help," I wondered out loud.

"They talked? I never heard, I think only you can hear them because they are apart of you," he said. "What did they say to you?"

"Arianna, my wolf's name, said that she was only trying to help. My black panther said that she knows I'm are confused but it will make sense soon. She said to remember that they are always here for me," I said.

"I really hope that Sage will have answers," he said. Then I remembered, me and Luke have to write that story if I don't complete it Ms. Cilton will for sure fail us! I can't afford to get failed. I sprang up off of the mattress.

"I have a school assignment that I need to get done," I said.

"Just do it here," he said with a shrug.

"I can't it's a partner assignment, so I'm going to go over to my friends house to work on it with," I half way lied, I wouldn't exactly call Luke a friend.

"So I'll come with you," he said.

"No, you stay here, mom has to be at work by eleven in the morning so you can talk to Sage," I said quickly. "There is the box of candles in the attic."

"What if something attacks you?" He asked. "I won't be there to help you."

"I'll be fine, trust me," I insisted. "And anyways your not exactly invisible in this state."

"Okay, fine," he said with a sigh.

"Good, well I'm going to sleep," I said and walked to my bedroom door. "Make sure you turn off the tv, night." I walked in, turned off the light and jumped onto my bed. I closed my eyes, ready for sleep. But sleep wouldn't come, Arianna is stirring with excitement for some reason.

Twenty minutes later I finally managed to fall asleep..............
