Eye Of The Cat

Chapter 7

I woke up with a headache. I heard birds chirping and I smell wood. I felt something comfy underneath me. Where am I? I thought in confusion.

I opened my eyes to see a wooden roof and remembered where I am, Luke's house. I looked around, it looks like I'm in Luke's bedroom. I'm laying on a king sized bed.

"Ugh," I said holding my head, my head hurts! I heard footsteps approaching the door, I sat up. Then Luke opened the door and walked in only in a towel covering his bottom half. His chest is bare, he has hot abs. My eyes widened and stared at him. He smirked.

"So your finally awake, eh," he said. "I just came out of the shower, I need clothes."

"Okay," I said. He walked beside the bed to his dresser. He got out some clothes.

"You may want to close your eyes," he said with a smirk. I quickly covered my eyes with my hands, protecting my eyes. After a few seconds he said. "You can look now." I removed my hands from over my eyes. Luke now has pants on and is putting on a black shirt.

"What happened? And why am I in your room? You didn't do anything to me did you?" I asked suspiciously.

"I didn't do anything, I found you in the woods beside the pond unconscious. So I carried you back here and put you in my room," he explained. It all came back to me. I quickly touched my teeth with my hands, they are still really sharp, so it wasn't a dream. Then that means that Clara is in a coma. My eyes darkened, with anger and sadness.

"Where did you sleep then?" I asked.

"On the couch, very uncomfortable bye the way," he informed me. I rolled my eyes.

"My head hurts, and I'm hungry," I complained. He chuckled.

"Come on I'll get you something to eat," he said with a roll of his eyes. I got off the bed, big mistake, I stumbled. But Luke caught me. "Come on I'll help you." I was going to propose but before I could speak he put his arm around my waist. He walked me to the kitchen. I sat down on the stool.

"Thanks," I murmured. "Can I have something for my head?"

"Sure, I'll be back," he said and walked off into another room.

Clara is in a coma, it's all because of me. If I had never gave her my car to drive then she wouldn't of collided with the other car, and she wouldn't be in the coma now!

Tears ran down my cheek, I can't control them. I growled and forced them to stop, I wiped off the tears. I flexed my hands and the claws came out from under my nails. I heard footsteps approaching behind me and I quickly flexed my hands and the claws retracted under my nails.

"Are you okay?" Luke asked walking up beside me.

"Ya I'm fine," I lied. He nodded. He handed me some pills, I'm gessing aspirin and water. "Thanks." I took the aspirin with the water. 

"I'll make breakfast," he said. He started cooking which smells like bacon and eggs. I licked my lips at the delicious smells.

"It smells soo good," I said.

"It'll be done soon," he said with a chuckle. Ten minutes passed and he turned off the stove. He quickly put the eggs on a egg mic muffin with a couple pieces of bacon. He handed me one on a plate.

"Thanks you!" I exclaimed

"Careful, it's ho-" he was saying but he stoped when I took a big bite of it.

"It's not hot at all," I murmured through the food. He looked surprised but it quickly vanished from his face. He made his own own sadwich and sat down beside me.

"When do you want me to drive me home?" He asked, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"Ummm instead of driving me home can you drive me to the hospital?" I asked.

"Yes of course," he said. "How about I drive you to the hospital at 12:00 I have a meeting to go to at 21:30."

"Sounds like a plan," I said, then I dared to ask. "What is the meeting for anyways?" He looked sharply at me.

"Non of your business," he said shapely. I flinched in surprise.

"Okay, sorry I asked," I hissed defensively.

"Sorry for being rude," he apologized. I didn't say anything, just nodded.
