The movie ends and as we all head back to the house I turn around and get a piggy back ride again. It's still pretty light outside so we go out for ice cream. I get mine and lick the sprinkles off, getting a dab of ice cream on my nose. Dally walks to the table I am sitting at and wipes off the dab with his thumb. I smile at him and go back to licking my ice cream. Johnny eats his ice cream and finishes first. He must love ice cream a lot to finish so fast. He waits for us to finish ours. Two-Bit looks at Dally then at me then back at Dally. He seems to be thinking if there is something going on between me and Dally. I then remember that we never told him that me and Dally are an item. I nudge Dal's arm and whisper to him what I think Two-Bit is thinking. Dally looks at Two-Bit and gets the same thought. Dally explains to Two-Bit how me and Dal are dating. Two-Bit looks at us like we are joking but notices we aren't kidding. He says with a laugh "Good for you guys! Dally needed somebody to make him happy and not be in so much trouble all the time." I smile and lay my head on Dally's arm as i eat my icecream.
