Part 3

I wake up to see that Dally is already gone. I wonder where he went off to. I walk out forgetting to put my shirt back on since i sleep without a shirt. I walk into the kitchen wearing my tigger pajamas and find Darry making breakfast and the others sitting on the couch and floor watching TV and talking. Dally was sitting on the couch talking to Johnny. They look like best friends or maybe even brothers. Dally stops talking and sees me, he says "Hey Jeff, did you sleep well?" I answer "Yeah just fine." He pats the empty seat next to him and asks me to sit there. I sit and Johnny says to Dally "So, what we gonna do today Dal?" Dally thinks and then suggests "Maybe the movies.. We could show Jeff the town that way." Dally winks at me. I knew what that wink meant very easily. I nod and say "Yea sounds good to me." Johnny tells Dally "Well better hurry up cause we can't come back at dark." We keep watchin' the tv and Darry yells breakfast is ready as we grab a bite to eat before heading out. I was excited to be able to walk around with the tuffest guys I have ever seen! The eggs were really good and so was the toast. I compliment Darry on his cooking skills. He thanks me and goes on about how its nothin' really. We walk out of the door and down the sidewalk.
