Part 10

We all walk to the beach and play bumpsies on the way. Dally walks behind me with his arm around me and his other on my stomach. I love him so much. When we get to the beach everybody starts to get into their trunks. I walk over to the bathroom and change. When I am about to get out Dally opens the door, kisses me, then walks back out chuckling. I snatch his arm and jump on his back. For some reason I love piggy back rides. He runs with me on his back into the water. The water was so cold it kept splashing my toes. Dally grabs water into his hands and splash my body. Now I am cold and wet. He giggles and looks up at me "Wanna go underwater?" He smirks. I didn't get a chance to hold my breath as we went under. I tried going up for a breath but I was stuck to Dally. My eyes start seeing white and close. Dally goes up but I am still under. I start to sink and drown. Dally panics and picks me up, dragging me to the sand. He listens to my heartbeat but it slows down. He yells for everybody to come help him. They rush over and see me laying there. Darry starts to press on my chest as water spits out of my mouth. I start coughing and Dally holds me close. I feel cold drops onto me and look above me. Dally was crying and holding onto me. He didn't loosen his grip he kissed my forehead and says "I'm so sorry! I didn't know..." His voice is trembling with tears. Everyone looks at Dally and starts asking why he kissed me. Dally looks at them and tells them "Read my bracelet then read his." They look at them and say "Aww." Dally looks down at me then smiles. We all walk home but Dally carries me like a baby back home. He wraps me up with a towel and keeps me close to his chest.
