It was just in time that we changed and I had quickly cleaned up. A nurse pops her head in and sees the curtain closed as she nods and steps back out closing the door behind her. Phew! What a close one.. I lay back in bed and cuddled into Dallas' body getting warmth from him. The gang knocks on the door as Dally gets out of my hold and lets them in. He tells them I woke up but very cold so I was cuddling into his arms. I blush and keep my face in the bed, hidden. The gang opens the curtains and looks over at me in a little ball with my face looking so innocent as if a baby was sleeping in a crib. Two-Bit walks over to the side I have my face showing and gets out a marker. Right before he can write anything I jerk open my eyes and grab the marker quickly as I write on his forehead 'Re-tard' . He looks at me with a stern face and then breaks it with a laugh. "Beat me to it, Jeff" Two-Bit jokes. I look over at everybody and sit up. Darry looks at me and says "When did you two wake up, anyway?" We both shrug since we never looked for a clock.
