Chapter one: Who did you say you were?!

Ruby's POV

 So, well, I suppose we're Extranormal now. Well, what a night, house fire, super powers, random people appearing in my room what next?

Jade's gone to use the bathroom so me and Sapphire have some time to talk.

"Well, Saphire, phew...what a night!"

"Oh please, call me Saph. I know! It's just been so crazy! I don't know when or even if I should go home."

"Yeah I--------------"

A scream cuts me off, we run out onto the landing. Jade is standing outside the bathroom door holding a extremely scared-looking man in a choke. He looks like he is in is early 20's and he is wearing a rather grubby...um..well I guess it was white, suit and a white tie. On his head, he is wearing a white fedora with a stripe of silver around the bit above the brim of the hat. He looks embarrassed and terrified.

"What the heck do you think you're doing just popping into someone bathroom while someone's in there! You complete weirdo! Who the heck are you anyway?" Jade seems pretty ticked off about his entry. While I double up with silent laughter, Sapphire runs over to calm Jade down and get her to release the man. Then Jade and I take him by his arms with Sapphire following behind and walk him into my room.

Jade grabs a scarf that is sticking out from a drawer and ties up his hands with it. Saphire switches on my desk lamp and shines it is his face.

"Ok, you can do this the easy way, or the hard way." Jade shouts "Talk or I'll make you. Who are you and what do you want with us?"

"I...I..um...I..." He stammers

"Out with it.." Jade Growls

"Ok..just...just...don't hit me....ok.. I ..um I'm Fuzz."

There's an extremely awkward moment of silence, then we all burst out laughing. 'Fuzz' looks quite offended.

"Ok ok sorry, um you're not serious?" Giggles Sapphire, holding back a load of laughs.

"Yes I am. Well, it's not my whole name. My full name is; Edwin a 'fuzz' d'lacey. Don't laugh! But most people know me as Fuzz. Pleased to meet you three. Sorry about my entrance miss," he gestures to Jade, who glares back but then grins. (Wow she's unpredictable.) "It is quite hard to judge exactly where I'll teleport to. I am your guardian and I am here to take you to Parania." He bows gracefully and his hat falls off. Sapphire screams, Jade sniggers and I have to stuff my fist into my mouth to stop laughing. he has ginger cat ears sticking out from his head where his hat had covered them! His face goes crimson and he looks like he is about to cry. Sapphire runs over and gives him a tissue, he blows his nose and it sounds like an elephant.

"What the heck is on your head? And why are they there?" Jade asks.

"Well, I wasn't always good when i was was little," Fuzz said mournfully, "when I was twen, I wanted these really cool new trading cards that everybody had. My parents refused to buy any so one day I decided to go and get some myself. When I got there, I didn't have enough money so, I thought that I could just sneak one little pack into my pocket and then run off. Well, uh..the shopkeeper saw me and asked if I'd already bought them. So I kept saying yes until I walked out the shop. But then the alarm went off and the shopkeeper was so mad, he cursed these on me!" He strokes his ears and sniffs.

"Oh, that's sad." I said, "But anyhoo, what about this Parania place?"

"Ah," Said Fuzz, "I'll tell you later."
