Chapter 3, Journey to Parania

Sapphire's POV

Jade's been sulking for about ten minutes now. The car's........okay. I am sitting next to Fuzz in the front. His hat is stuck tightly on his head but I can see that it's pretty uncomfortable, he keeps on adjusting it and itching. I really hope that no one can see us because it'd hit the news and cause big issues. A thought suddenly pops into my mind, what about our lives here?

"Excuse me Mr. Fuzz, um won't we be missed?"

"What Miss Sapphire?"

"I mean, won't our parents get worried? If we're missing, won't that upset them?"

"Never fear, Miss Sapphire, You'll have only been gone for about three hours. By then, we'll have reached Parania and your duplicates will have been transported to each of your houses!They're fool proof! No one can tell the difference between them and the real you! They have all your memories! Even the ones that you can't remember accept anything to do with powers or weird stuff like this. They'll think like you, talk like you, act like you and even learn like you."

"That's alright........Fuzz, do you have a duplicate?"

"I...don't know...I should think so.I showed my powers at an early age so I don't remember, I just remember life in Parania. I never knew my real parents." He looks down, sadly.

"Cheer up Fuzz!" Shouts Jade, suddenly stopping sulking. "And watch the road, uh, sky."

About ten minutes passes and Ruby falls asleep. Jade, who now has no-one of her interest to talk to, listens to music on her iphone. So it's just me and Fuzz..

"Fuzz?"

"Yes Miss Sapphire?"

"Where are we going to live?"

"33 Tranox Drive."

"What's that like?"

"It's...big...a mansion to be precise. It's quite modern. The furniture is white so keep it clean!"

"Oh good! So are going to live on are own. I'm only thirteen and so's Ruby, Jade's only just turned fourteen so I don't think that'd be a good idea."

"God no Miss Sapphire, I'll be staying with you untill you can live on your own."

He'd turned around to talk tome and wasn't watching the sky. I scream as a british airways jumbo jet comes speeding towards us. He notices and swerves. The car rolls over three times in mid-air and we all scream. Ruby wakes up and Jade's iphone almost falls out the window. Then we stop and Fuzz pulls over at a cloud traffic service station.

"Are we all alright?" He asks, a little concerned.

"Barely." Jade mutters in return. And we all get out.
